Hi everyone and welcome to My Favorite Thing's 1st day of teasers for the June 2011 release! And boy are we SUPER excited to share all the wonderful products coming out! The design team has the most spectacular line up of projects in store for you in the next 5 days leading up to the release!
Today the MFT design team is sharing projects using 2 new stamp sets: Fred Bear Well Done and First Place Award Ribbon. I will be featuring First Place Award Ribbon for my project.
The extra cool thing about the First Place Award Ribbon stamp set is it comes with a 4-piece Die-namics die set as well! Dont'cha just LOVE stamp & die combo sets? ----> I DO! ♥ You get the best of both worlds in one pack!
Here are a few pics to get you started....
I created this card using the Prima Reflections papers. I die-cut my scalloped ribbon and circle using the First Place award Ribbon Die-namics and layered it onto a 3/8" Rosette. The Star and #1 are both from the stamp set, as well as the sentiments. I just LOVE the banners that come with the die-set! In addition, I used the new Open Bracket Border Die-namics to die cut Hot Fudge cardstock and added it both sides of my center layer. I love the masculine feel the burlap, brown twine and brown vintage button adds to the card.
On the inside of the card, I used the "dash" border stamp from the First Ribbon Award stamp set to create a border around my inner layer. Then I stamped a custom sentiment and some stars from the stamp set onto the oval from the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics set. Layered that onto the Scalloped circle die from the First Award Ribbon Die set, then layered that on top of a Textile Rectangle Die-namics. Whew! LOVE them layers and Die-namics!
That's my card for today! Be sure to stop by Kim's blog to see what the other MFT ladies created to share with you today!
See you back here tomorrow for Day 2 of MFT Teasers!
hugs,
Here are the Die-namics I used:
