8x8 "Precious Moment" Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone! Hope you had yourself an awesome little weekend. Mine went by UBER fast! I can't believe the work week is only hours ahead and I am still LOW on sleep! aaaah! LOL! ❤ But that is no excuse NOT to create right? That's where the coffee and chocolate come in (caffeine!!!!)

Today I'd like to share an 8x8 layout I created of hubby and I. We spent Easter Sunday (which was also our 12 year wedding anniversary) at San Francisco. This photo was taken at the end of Pier 39 where the kids were watching the tour boats take off and arrive.

The paper collection I used on this scrapbook layout is Prima's new Almanac paper collection. Oh my goodness you guys, this paper is so AMAZING! I love all the coordinating embellies. ❤

I accented this layout with several little goodies from KARLAS001.... so let's get started off with some pictures...

The wooden butterfly is so fun... I love how it's just sitting on my sentiment on this layout...

I had fun hand-stitching this layout. It adds just the perfect little something. And of course, gotta have the doily... I just LOVE doilies! I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. ❤

The crystal Butterflykisses flowers are so pretty. They capture the natural light and bring sparkle to any project... and the white porcelain flowers are perfect when layered, so dainty!

I love the wood tickets by Prima, they coordinate perfectly with the paper collection...

"Once in a Lifetime" 12x12 Scrapbook Layout & Tutorial

Hi everyone!

Today, I have another very special project to share with you. This picture of my parents was taken at their 42nd wedding anniversary lunch this past January. My parents are the cutest ever! After all these years, they are still so very much in love. I just had to create something with this ah-MAZING picture they took together on their anniversary. ❤

The paper collection I'm using is Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime. I incorporated several items from Karla's store to accent my layout. All the products will be listed below, but first some pictures...

Going wild crazy with the layers... LOL!

The loopy trim is one of my favorites... it's perfect for layering or even lining an altered box or pages on a mini album!

I love accenting my projects with the pearl sprays to add dimension and an additional accent/layer...

The Sheer butterflies are another favorite of mine.... I added one to the edge of the layout, sort of in a "strategic" position to cover where I cut off the trim. LOL! ❤

I did a lot of fussy cutting with the design paper... lots of layering and distressing... super fun!

I LOVE Karla's large 3D clear Crystal Butterflykisses flowers. They are so beautiful and capture the natural light so well, bringing in this radiant glow to the layout...

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to give Karla a visit over at her STORE and show some love! ❤

hugs! ❤

"Treasure" Friend 8x8 Scrapbook Lay-out

Hey everyone and happy Friday!!

I'm here today with another project for KARLAS001!

I've been on this scrapbook layout kick and decided to make another one... this time of me and my BFF Bona. She's www.keeponscrappin.blogspot.com. Her and I have been buds since 2nd grade and in January, we had the opportunity to attend CHA together... so you can only imagine how excited we were and how many pictures we took! LOL! This one picture is right up there with my favorites. When Bona and I take pics, she extends her arm out, tilts the camera at a "just right" angle and Ba-bammmmmmm, instant self photo of us! I always tease her that our pictures come out better when she takes them 'cuz she's got the long arms and the "angle action" goin' on! LOL! ❤

I will have all the products listed below, as well as a link to a detailed YouTube video tutorial too... but first some pics!

Thanks so much for letting me share my latest layout with you. Now head on over to Karla's Etsy where you will be sure to find some treasures for your scrapbooking stash!

Enjoy your weekend and happy scrappin'!

hugs! ❤

A Card for a Special Friend

Hi everyone! I'm here with a card that I created for a special friend using some of my wonderful goodies from KARLAS001.etsy.com. If you haven't checked out Karla's Etsy, don't delay! She has the cutest trims and embellishments -- perfect for card making, scrapbooking, altered art, mixed media... you name it!

I am completely addicted to making these butterflies using my Butterfly AccuCut die and the 4" rosette trim from Karla's Etsy (all products linked below.) This time, I made it using the deep red rosette trim... it looks so yummy, good enough to eat right? LOL! And do you see that extra large crystal ButterflyKisses flower? Oh my goodness you guys, this flower is big and beautiful! I love it!

The papers are by Echo Park. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things, as well as the fishtail banner die-cut, black flourishes, and scallop border.

Here are some pics...

"Butterflykisses" Butterfly cards

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a GREAT week so far. It's a mere Tuesday and I am already wishing it was Friday... but we all know how that goes, LOL!

Today, I want to share a few cards I made in the past couple of days using some beautiful trims and embellishments from KARLAS001.etsy.com. I just LOVE Karla's Etsy. She is always getting new stuff in her store, not to mention the hottest embellies to use on all your paper or crafting projects!

I used Karla's 4" Rosette Trims to make the butterflies using an AccuCut die. These look similar to the Prima butterflies you can purchase, but I like to make them my own and add little embellies you wouldn't think to add! ☺

Here is a card I made for a scrappy friend (all product links will be included at the bottom of this post):

This is the inside of the card...

Here is  a video tutorial showing how I put this card together:

Here are two other cards I made over the weekend when I first received my KARLAS001 design team package... I couldn't wait to create something!! LOL!

Here is a video showing these two cards up close, along with some of the goodies I received in my KARLAS001 DT package:

Thank you for letting me share my latest projects with you! Enjoy the rest of your week! ❤

hugs! ❤

Halloween Castle Mini Album

Hey there everyone! Today I have a fun project to share with you for Lindy Stamp Gang!

I created this Halloween mini album using the Castle #2 album die set by AccuCut and a mod podge of papers by Recollections and DCWV. I accented this album using Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz by Lindy Stamp Gang (my absolute fav!!) I just LOVE how it gives your pages and elements tons of shimmer without the color when you don't need color! I also used colors from the new Tickle Me Fancy Magical Mica set. This is "the" perfect set for all your Halloween projects! But if you are looking for more traditional Halloween "shimmery" goodness, check out the Haunted Halloween Starburst Spray set.

Here are a few pictures from my Halloween Castle mini album:

Watch my video of this mini album below for more detail...

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have an amazingly crafty weekend! hugs! ❤
