"Just Me" Mixed Media Altered Mini Canvas

Hello blogging beauties! I have a fun project I want to share with you all today. I got down and dirty, and was completely in my element when creating this. I was really missing my Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and got to have TONS of fun with my sprays creating this mixed media altered mini canvas.

The paper collection I incorporated into this project is Prima's Divine papers. I used a variety of metal embellishments from my stash and a array of flowers in colors I don't normally use. But you know, in the end it didn't matter what color flowers I grabbed from my supply, because all the elements were primed up, then sprayed with a combination of Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays!

Some of the techniques I used on this project were inspired by Anna (Finnabair). I had the pleasure of meeting her in front of the Lindy's Stamp Gang booth at Winter CHA 2012. She is a very sweet gal and I absolutely love her art work! Check out her YouTube channel HERE.

Here are some photos of my completed mixed media mini canvas:

The texture is created with various mediums and product...

Of course, I have to have a butterfly somewhere on the project, right?! *wink-wink* ♥

I really love the texture the white doilies have on the canvas, and they take the Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays so nicely...

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my latest project.
Have yourself an awesomely crafty weekend!

hugs, hugs!

10,000 YouTube Subscriber Giveaway - WIN a Vagabond & 2 "soon to be released" Alterations dies!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!

I'm so excited to share that yesterday on my YouTube Channel "mybutterflykisses12", I announced a 10,000 YouTube Subscriber Giveaway, sponsored by Karla at KARLAS001.etsy.com! You don't want to miss out on this folks... for the grand prize of my giveaway, Karla is giving away a brand new Sizzix Vagabond, plus 2 of the "soon to be released" Tim Holtz Alterations dies -- the vintage camera and the vintage typewriter!! You can take a peek at these new dies on Tim Holtz's "CHA sneak preview" blog post HERE. Here's what the Vagabond electric die-cutting machine looks like, in case you are not familiar with it...

The Vagabond is my "must have" and "can't live without" tool of the trade (next to my AccuCut Grandmark, of course!) If you don't have a Vagabond, you WILL fall in love with this machine, trust me! LOL!

Be sure to click over to my "10,000 YouTube Subscriber Giveaway" video for the giveaway details (including shipping details of prize package) and leave a comment on the giveaway video (not on this blog post) and enter your chance to win!

Thanks again to all my YouTube subbies for all the support. The past 3 years have been a BLAST and I look forward to more videos and fun in the future!

Good luck!

hugs! ❤
