Mother's Day card - I Am Roses May Color Challenge!

Hi everyone! I hope you join I Am Roses for a really fun challenge this month, which is to create a project using Purple and/or Teal/Turquoise!

I'm here to share a special card I created for my Mom for Mother's day. Let me start off by first telling you that purple is a REAL challenge for me. I don't use it in any of my projects -- AT ALL. LOL! I'm not a purple fan, which is why I decided to challenge myself and create something using it! I have to say, the milder (on-the-pink side) purples were MUCH easier for me to use. :-)

Here are some pictures of my card (a video link will be included below for full details and additional pictures of this card)...

You hit the nail on the head on Purple. I am exactly the same way except that I like the more blueish purples. Beautiful card.

I meant to tell you I use Cheery Lynn dies also. I order them from DutchPaperCrafts. She gives a nice discount on all the different brands of dies she carries. She also charges only the actual amount that the postage costs to ship. Darlene gets her orders out super fast. I enjoy ordering from her and she has nice videos showing the dies and samples of cards using each of the dies. Her blog is:
