Hi everyone and welcome, welcome!! We have something VERY special to share with you today!

It's the April 2012 La La Land Crafts release showcase!

Our challenge this week is "Use something new"! Starting Monday, the La La Land Crafts design team began showcasing 14 of the new stamps available in the April release. How's that for something new?!

Take a peek...

I think you’ll agree that these new images are once again the CUTEST things ever!!

This time around La-La Land Crafts will have different levels of PRIZES!

What do you need to do to win?

  • Comment on EACH Blog from participating Guests and Design Team Members (links are included below for your convenience) for a chance to WIN 3 STAMPS of your choice from the LLLC Store! We will pick two winners from the comments on different blogs.
  • Make a qualifying* purchase in the La-La Land Crafts Store between April 23rd and May 1st for a chance to have your whole order refunded, making it completely FREE!

*rubber stamps only, digis excluded

In addition, we have a bundled package for a limited time!! You can purchase ALL the stamps in the release (14 stamps total) for $125.00 USD….. a savings of over 20%!!

Don’t forget there is a blog link list at the very bottom to assist you in the hop!!

Now let’s get on with the show...

For my first project, I created a fun card using the new Ukulele Luka. Is he not the cutest little man with his ukulele and kukui nut necklace?! True island style -- LOVE it!

I colored him up with my Copic markers and layered him on a card made with the Tahiti Beach Stack papers by DCWV. "Mahalo" which means "Thank you" in Hawaiian, is a sentiment included with the Ukulele Luka stamp set. The tribal mask is the perfect touch and it comes with the set too!

What's new you say? The flower punch I used to punch out the flowers from the paper collection... and Ukulele Luka of course! ❤

Copic Markers:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, BV00

Hair: C3, C5, C7, C9
Flowers: R14, R27, Y15
Hawaiian Shirt: Flowers - R14, Flower Center: Y15, Trim - R14, R27
Kukui Nut Necklace: E47, E49
Ukulele: E25, E27, E29
Pants: E40, E42, E43
Tribal Mask: E43, E40, R14, "Gold" - At You Spica Glitter Pen

Next up is this SUPER fun 12x12 scrapbook layout I created of my son Jarrod using the brand new Karate Luka

What PERFECT timing with the release of this new stamp! Jarrod just competed in his 3rd Tae Kwon Do tournament this past weekend and scored 2 trophies -- YAY!! I absolutely HAD to scrap some of the photos from his "forms" performance. He was soooooo spot on with his forms. I'm such a proud mamma! ❤

I colored up Karate Luka using my Copic Markers. The little patch on his lapel is handmade by me using a Copic Multi-liner pen and R14 (do you see the patch on Jarrod's lapel? I even matched his belt on Luka! LOL!) "Hi-ya!" is a sentiment that comes with the stamp set. What's new? I used my new Fishtail Stax Die-namics to create the fun layers of banners at the base of my layout.
I'll include a full product list at the end of this post...

I see myself getting a LOT of use with this Luka... I have 3 sons in Tae Kwon Do! ❤
Here's a close-up of this cutie...

Copic Markers:

Skin: E50, E51, E53

Hair: C3, C5, C7, C9
Headband: B14, B16, B18
Patch (I added this): Copic Multiliner .03, R14
Belt: B18
