What a fun sketch we have this Wednesday! I want to take a moment to thank our ever lovely Julie for hosting these challenges, which many of us have been *giddy* about as the sketches have been just so AMAZING! And might I add SUPER fun to work with! :-)
So here is what I came up with as a sample for this WSC sketch challenge!
I layered some old Stampin' Up designer paper from my stash onto some Hot Fudge cardstock. Then I did a zig-zag stitch with my sewing machine up and down both sides of the panel. Then I topped the corners off with some brads by Recollections. I used MFT's Textile Rectangle die and layered on the sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Love stamp set (cut out using my Long Rectangle Nesties.) I layered those on top of some gorgeous vintage pink lace I received in a RAK from my friend Jules.
The rose is cut out in My Favorite Felt using MFT's Rolled Rose die. I just LOVE cutting out these roses in felt, it's so yummy! :-) I popped a little pearl in the center to top it off.
The inside of the card is simple... I just layered some of the SU! designer papers, cutting the edge of one of them using my Jumbo Scallop die. The sentiment I used is from the Clearly Sentimental About You stamp set.
Be sure to check Kim's blog to see what the other MFT DT members have to share with you today... it will definitely get you inspired! :-)
