"Best Friends" 12x12 Scrapbook Layout & a card

Hi everyone! I have a few I Am Roses projects to share with you today!

First up is this 12x12 scrapbook layout I created...

My older brother and I are 13 months apart and when we were growing up, we were inseparable! I would sneak into his room with all my stuff animals and dolls and crawl into his bed and we would play until the late hours of the night without our parents catching us! My Mom snapped this photo of us playing. She found this photo in an old photo box and gave it to me. I scanned it right away and knew someday I'd create something with it. Well, today's the day!

Here are some photos to share with you:

Thank you for letting me share my latest creations with you today! I hope you give a scrapbook layout a "go"... they are super fun to make and the best keepsake for your family to look back on years from now!

TIP: I've been asked on several occasions about how I store my "bulky" scrapbook layouts. Sometimes I display them in 12x12 shadow boxes or "scrapbooking page" frames that you can purchase at your local craft and hobby store. I hang the shadow boxes in our Bonus Room to display. Other times, I insert them in plastic envelopes that I purchase at clearbags.com and keep them in a basket ("filing" style) near my family albums in the living room... that way guests can pull them out of the basket to take a look at them.  I back all my dimensional/bulky layouts on heavy chipboard as well to keep them stable. :-)

Anywhoooo..... have an AWESOME week ahead and happy scrappin'! ❤

hugs!

Hi Arlene,

What beautiful beautiful projects. You are definitely my enabler when it comes to buying craft materials! Just want to check whether the ribbon buckles you bought from Beyongbusiness are the rhinestone ones or the acrylic ones?
