Altered Witches Hat - I Am Roses "A Haunting We Will Go" BLOG HOP!

Hi everyone and welcome to the I Am RosesA Haunting We Will Go” Blog Hop. If you came my way via the I Am Roses blog, you are in the right place!

We're excited that you're joining us for today's blog hop and we can't wait to share with you our "spooktacular" projects using I Am Roses products! AND, you guessed it! We will be randomly selecting a blog winner from one of the designers blogs, so be sure to comment along the way to enter your chance to win some I Am Roses products!

So let's get crackin'... ♥

For my project, I created this fun altered Witch's Hat. I challenged myself NOT to use any design paper and to make the project black and gothic. :-) Well, I caved a little because I used a mini note card with sentiment from Graphic 45's Happy Haunting paper collection... but, I "think" I achieved the black and gothic look with this hat. hehe!  First, here are some pictures...

For a fun little share, my 8-yr old son Dylan thought it would be hilarious to try on the altered witch's hat... and he gave me a little "wicked" smile while he was at it... check him out!! LOL!

Here's a video tutorial "beginning to end" showing how I created this altered witch's hat:

Now before I send you on your hoppin' way, here’s how you can enter a chance to win the I Am Roses blog candy:

  • Hop along to each of the design team member's blogs and be sure to comment on their individual "A Haunting We Will Go” Blog Post. There is 1 hidden blog candy prize up for grabs in one of our DT member’s blogs!
  • Be sure to subscribe/follow the I Am Roses Challenge Blog
  • Commenting along the way increases your chance of winning the prize package. Comments will be closed on Oct. 31st 11:59am PST

We will be randomly selecting 1 winner from the comments on one of the I Am Roses designer’s blogs.  The Winner Announcement will be posted on Monday Nov. 5th. As you hop along be sure to subscribe/follow the individual design team member's blogs so you don't miss out on the winner announcement!

Here is a picture of the I Am Roses blog candy that is up for grabs! WOWEEEE!!!

Next up is our amazingly talented Aliscia! So head on over!
