JustRite and Stampers Dream Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! JustRite Stampers and Stampers Dream have partnered for a super FUN Blog Hop!! ☺

If you landed on my blog from the talented Barb Schram, you are hoppin' along just great! If you just happened to stumble across my blog today, then you might want to start back at the JustRite Blog, and here's why... ☺

Along the hop, we have 3 great blog candy prizes hidden! No one knows where the blog candy is! For your chance to win one of these 3 prizes, simply leave a comment on each blog. That's all you have to do! ☺ Blog comments will remain open until 8 pm CST - Tuesday March 22nd. The 3 winners will be announced on the Stampers Dream blog and the JustRite blog on Wednesday, March 23rd. Here is what you have a chance to win:

  1. 4 JustRite Stamp sets of your choice
  2. a $50.00 prize package from Stampers Dream
  3. a $50.00 shopping spree to the JustRite webstore

Here's a little peek-ity-peek at the prize package from Stampers Dream --- whoa!!!!

I have to say, that I just LOVE JustRite stamps. If you haven't tried them out, you are missing out! They are so darn versatile and are compatible with many Spellbinders dies - I so {heart} stamps that have  compatible dies.... they are to "die" for!!  If you are new to JustRite Stampers, click HERE to find out how they work! ☺

Here is a card I created using the JustRite Heart to Heart Borders & Centers set. The set comes with 4 designer centers and 4 borders and is compatible with the Wood Stamper Oval (2 1/4" x 3 1/16")

The paper collection I'm using is Graphic 45's Curtain Call. I stamped the sentiment "Enjoy Your Day" onto the DP and used my Nesties to cut it out, then distressed it with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain and Black Soot. I stamped one of the borders from the Heart to Heart Borders & Centers set and cut it out with my Nesties. Then I cut out a piece of black cardstock with a larger layering Nestie and dry embossed it with one of my Tim Holtz Sizzix texture fades.

I created my "custom" flower by layering one of the Prima flowers from the Symphony Blend Amoroso Pink pack over a black rosette blossom I cut off of a rosette trim I purchased on Etsy. I placed a vintage wooden button from the Portrait Eclectic Buttons pack in the center. I created one of my custom stick pins, and added it to the rosette to add some interest, along with some vanilla colored skeleton leaves from Iamroses. The black Prima Say it in Pearls, back aluminum roses and black vintage lace are from my stash.

Now, to get you on your hoppin' way, please click on over to the talented Michele Kovack's blog. I'm certain she has something gorgeous and inspiring to share with you today.

Hope you like my card and I appreciate you stopping by to take a peek! ☺

hugsies!

Nice card, but pray tell what is a "texture fade"? It is different than an embossing folder? How does it work?
