La-La Land Crafts BIRTHDAY Hop!

They say it's your birthday... na-na-na-na-na-naaaaa.... it's my birthday too... na-na-na-na-na-naaaa!! Guess what?! On August 1st La-La Land Crafts' Marci and Luka finally turned ONE!

Now onto my project...

I created this card using the super beautiful Mermaid Marci. I just LOVE this image, she is so adorable with her little mermaid fin!

I colored her up with my Copic markers and used my Gold At You Spica glitter pen to color in the starfish in her hair. I fussy cut her and popped her up on dimensionals, layered on top of some doilies I cut out using my nesties. The paper collection is an old stack by DCWV called Ciao Bella.

I created the "seaweed" using a Martha Stewart punch and design paper. The flowers are by I Am Roses and the leaf spray is from my friend Karla's Etsy. The bubbles are little "bling" stickers I received in a RAK from a scrappy friend in Canada.



I finished off the inside of the card too, you can peek at it from this angle...

    Beautiful card Arlene. I love the crystals you used to create the bubbles. A beautiful underwater scene. And I love how you colored up Marci, her hair is awesome! :)

    I love this card I don't have girls as always amazing. How do you pick your colors? you always seem to be able to put together colors you should make a video on how you get inspired that would be great or maybe you already have one. Have a great day

    Great card! The background with punches, flowers, roses, and bling is wonderful. Love your choice of colors with Mermaid Marci being a bit brighter so she just pops.
