MFT March Creative Challenge

Hey everyone!

I have a creative challenge to share with you today! Every month, the MFT design team comes up with a challenge and participating members can step up to meet it! What a FUN challenge this was. The challenge was Die-namics Home Decor.

One day I was looking around my scraproom and saw all these dress forms I had on the shelves in my room. They make super pretty home decor, but all of them were "bare" and needed to be done up! :-) So I took one of my dress forms and went to town...

I decided not to cover the wires of the dress form entirely because I really wanted to be able to see the "form." The paper collection I selected was Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime.  I used the Dainty Lace border for the trim of her dress and layered some flat back pearls over that. I used some floral lace trim from A Treasure's Nest to accentuate the dress. I created a rosette using MFT's 1/4" rosette die,  layered on a petal from the Upsy Daisy Flower Builder die set, then layered on a small daisy petal from iamroses.com and topped it off with a vintage pearl rose button. For the back of the dress form, I tied some pink tulle into a bow and accented it with 2 Rolled Flowers and a couple of iamroses.com mini roses.

Here's a VIDEO that shows you the dress form up close and explains how it all came together.

Hope you like it! Be sure to check out Kim's blog to see what the other MFT gals came up with for the Creative Challenge -- they are certain to inspire and WOW! :-)

hugs!

Here are some of the Die-namics I used:
