I used the new Inspired by Spring stamp set for my card and I just LOVE it. I know I say this all the time, but the Inspired By collection by MFT just ROCKS and ROLLS!! I love the vintage yet shabby chic feel to the stamp images and the sentiments are always PERFECT for my projects. The paper collection I'm using is new by Prima called Sparkling Spring, the perfect back-drop for the IB: Spring stamps. I stamped the cherry blossom branch and colored it up with my Copic markers, cut it out with my round Nestabilities and layered it on top of the new Open Scallop Doily. I stamped the bird, colored him up with my Copic markers and popped him up with dimensionals. I created the bow using white seam binding from my stash, colored it up with the Copic marker I used for the Cherry Blossoms to coordinate, then hand crinkled it. I popped on a custom stick pin for added interest, as well as some of the fun Twine from the MFT Boutique. The flower is made of canvas, which I cut out using the new Pretty Posies Die-namics. I sprayed the canvas with Wheatfields Glimmer Mist and heat set it to make the petals curl naturally. I layered the posies, added a few of the centers and popped on a silver brad.... and voila! Instant vintage shabby flower. ☺

Inside the card, I stamped the Cherry Blossom branch in Rich Cocoa Momento Ink. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of DP that I cut out using the Sweet Stack Die-namics, then layered that on top of the new Four Point Frame.

Thank you for stopping by and letting me share my latest project with you. Be sure to visit Kim's Blog to see the other amazing projects the MFT design team has prepared to share with you today!

    hugsies!
