Now onto my projects...

I created my 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Bee Yourself card using K&Co's new Tim Coffey collection called Cottage Garden. I colored up the little baby bee using my Copic markers, cut it out using my Nesties. I distressed the inside of the image with Ranger Vintage Photo distress ink before removing the nestie die -- LOVE this technique! Then I layered it on top of another Nestie using Hot Fudge cardstock. I used the Scalloped Scallop and Open Scallop border Die-namics to line the left edge of the card along with some brown Prima lace. Lots of layering going on -- I LOVE me some layers! LOL! The accents on the card (flowers, sunflower, bee die-cuts) are from the Cottage Garden collection.

Inside the card, do you spy MFT's Simply Scallops, Flower Border and Rounded Banner Trio Die-namics? You betcha!! Super fun! :-)

For my next project, I decided to make a simple card that I could use for one of my Aunties, who I greatly miss (she lives 3000 miles away in the Philippines!) On the front of the card, I used one of the flowers from the Inspired by Flowers stamp set, along with the sentiment. I cut out a Dainty Lace doily with the BG Curio papers, which is the DP I used throughout the card. I lined the bottom of the card with some pretty brown Prima lace as a final touch. I kept the inside of the card super simple. I just trimmed one side with DP using the Jumbo Scallops die. Before I adhered it down, I stamped one of the flower images from the stamp set so it's "peeking" from behind the panel. I decided to keep it black and white so it's muted -- which will make a written message inside the card stand out.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check back tomorrow for our last day of teasers! Keep that shopping list handy... it's about to get longer! LOL!
