MFT Teasers Day 3!

Welcome to another fabulous day of MFT teasers! Today, we are showcasing MFT's newest Pure Innocence stamp sets -- and if you follow my blog, you'll see her featured in some of my most recent posts and tutorials -- LOVE the PI girl! But the PI boy is just as cutie-patootie! :-)

The new PI sets include Daffodil, Warm Fuzzies, One Sweet Chick, Girl Scout and Boy Scout. Tonight, I'm feauring PI: Daffodil and PI: Warm Fuzzies.

First up, PI: Daffodil.

I used the Prima Annalee papers from my stash and colored up the little PI Daffodil girl using my Copic markers. I created some grass using my Prismacolor pencils and cut her out using my Grand Nesties. I used the Simply Scallops Die-namics to layer DP and kraft paper on both the top and bottom of my card (little do we know I had a stitching boo-boo on the base of my card ---- shhhhhh!) LOL! So the scallops did their job of covering up my mistake! LOL! Do you spy MFT's new Upsy Daisy Flower Builder die set? Yup, you sure do! I centered my flower with a Recollections bling and popped on some twine and a Foofala Button.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Click HERE to watch a video tutorial on how I created the grass on this card using Prismacolor Pencils.

It's Die-namics city inside my card! LOL!! Here, I have featured the new Sweet Stack and Upsy Daisy Flower Builder Die-namics. I also used Simply Scallops and the large label from the Layered Labels die set. Lotsa layering goin' on! LOL! :-)

Here's my 2nd card usng PI: Warm Fuzzies...

The paper collection I went with is by DCWV, called Flower Shower Spring Stack from 2010. I paper pieced the cute little fuzzy PI girl and did a sort of "patch works" layering with the DP on the card. I used the Fresh Cut Grass and Sunshine Die-namics to give my little fuzzy girl a landscape. :-) I created the bow with some hand crinkled seam binding and centered it with a Foofala button & twine.

Inside the card I used more of the DP and layered up my MFT Die-namics -- Small Open Scallop border, Scalloped Scallop and Jumbo Scallop. The dimensonal flower is from the DCWV paper collection and the cute little sentiment if from the PI: Warm Fuzzies stamp set.
