I bought these Clip-it Up storage file folders to store a bunch of my little journaling cards and small paper embellies. The file folders came in this box and I thought an opportunity to alter the box presented itself! My first thought was "Graphic 45's Times Nouveau paper collection!!!" I have been hoarding (I mean "keeping" hehe) a good amount of this paper in my G45 stash and I thought it was just about that time to use some! Are you guys like me and have a super HARD time using the Graphic 45 papers because they are too darn pretty to cut-up?! Argh, and to add to the pain... I hate cutting into the double-sided paper because it means cutting up whatever design is on the back.... oh the pain, the pain!!!! :-( But that just means I always have to have AT LEAST 2 of every paper. hehe!! Can you tell I'm a HUGE G45 fan?! :-)
Be sure to check out the video showing how I created this box HERE.
Thanks for stopping by to visit me! :-)
Love the altered box! You are a great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI feel much better now. I thought I was alone in not wanting to cut up my pretty papers.

Hi Arlene,
ReplyDeleteThank you for another great tutorial and your box came out gorgeous. That is a beautiful paper collection and I don't think I have seen it before. There are way too many paper collection to keep up with. I just found the Mariposa stack and I can't wait to use it. A couple of questions: I noticed you did not use the Scotch quick-dry adhesive to adhere the paper to the box. What did you use? Also, do you prefer the mate finish over the lGloss- Luster-Lusteri n the Mod Podge? Thanks!
Have a great day.
Great project! That trim really makes it pop.
