Creating an Upcycled Tag with Graphic 45 and Couture!

Hey friends!
Today I have a fun tutorial to share with you. I discovered a new medium to deliver my tutorials thanks to Joanna and Charee from Graphic 45! It's called SnapGuide and WOW! If you thought Pinterest was a vast sea of inspiration, you have to check out the array of tutorials available on SnapGuide. I literally was engulfed in SnapGuide tutorials for nearly an entire day on my first visit! It is such a great place to find step-by-step tutorials on nearly everything from crafting, cooking, home improvement to even emergency planning!

So let me jump right into the project and tutorial!

Aren't the Graphic 45 Staples just amazing?! ♥ Well, what about the packaging they come in? Simply fabulous! ♥ Save them! I save all of mine and upcycle them into tags, albums and inserts for my mini albums. The project ideas are endless and not to mention environmentally friendly, too! ♥

For this project I upcycled the Staples packaging from Graphic 45's Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Keys and used the fabulously chic Couture collection to create this tag. What a wonderful gift in lieu of a card! ♥

My tutorial will take you step-by-step on how to upcycle the packaging!

First here is a quick photo of the tag in its entirety! ♥

...now here is my Snap Guide Tutorial!

More information and pictures of this project can be found on the Graphic 45 blog.

Hope to see you over there! ♥

Celebrate your Mom "Just Because"!

Hi friends!

Mother's Day is the perfect time to show Mom you care.
Create a special, hand-made card "Just Because."

I created this card using Graphic 45's gorgeous Botanical Tea paper collection. I seriously cannot get enough of these papers. The colors, images and design are just amazing in every way!

Here are some photos of my card. But I hope you can join me over at the Graphic 45 blog where we share special ways to celebrate Mom this Mother's Day...

Create a lot of fun layers by using the Botanical Tea chipboard, tags and coordinating mulberry flowers by Petaloo...

Paper doilies can also add a beautiful dainty touch to any project...

Fussy cut images from the paper collection to accent your project...

Always finish up the inside of your card to complete the design, leaving enough space to write your sentiments to Mom...

I hope you enjoyed my share today!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Mother's Day to all those AMAZING Moms out there! ♥

xoxo,

Hi friends!

I have a quick share for you today. For Winter CHA 2014, I created this tag using Graphic 45's fabulous Couture collection. This collection is reminiscent of the style and beauty of Le Romantique and Fashionista combined (for those who are long-time G45 fans like me, you'll remember these two beautiful collections well!) ♥

More photos of this tag, along with a walk through video tutorial and product list is available today on the Graphic 45 blog. Hope you join me over there! ♥

Here is another quick photo peek before I go!

A 49er Scrapbook Page featuring Graphic 45's Good Ol' Sport

We are wrapping a month full of projects and inspiration in celebration of National Craft Month over at the Graphic 45 blog. And today, I'll be sharing a fun family scrapbook page I created using the ever-so-fun Good Ol' Sport paper collection.

My family and I have lived in the Bay Area all our lives. As Bay Area natives, we have always followed the San Francisco 49ers. But my husband and eldest son Jarrod, are hard-core 49er fans. After 43 years, Candlestick Park in San Francisco is shutting its doors and the Niners are moving to a new home in Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. Since this was the last year the Niners would be playing at "The Stick", I decided to surprise my family with tickets to see one of the last games in person. Boy did we have FUN! ♥

To commemorate this special day, I created this scrapbook page. I even incorporated a "pocket" to hold the ticket stubs from the game - the perfect keepsake!

Be sure to check out the Graphic 45 blog today for more pictures of this project and inspiration from the other designers! Here are some pics...

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest project! I will back again later this week with an Easter project and tutorial, so be sure to check back! ♥

xoxo,
