G45 Bohemian Bazaar Altered Photo Carousel

Hello friends and happy Monday to you all!

Today, I have a special altered project I want to share with you. I found this raw wood photo carousel at my local Michael's and I thought it would be fun to alter something special to place on my office desk.  I buffed the wood with my Tim Holtz sanding block, then painted it with Ivory acrylic paint and edged it with Ranger's Distress ink in Vintage Photo. All the beautiful and virbant decor is from the Bohemian Bazaar paper collection. Available to match the paper collection are the matching chipboard and stickers. I really love coordinating embellishments. It saves me a ton of time when creating because I already know all the product will compliment each other! ❤

Here are some photos:

Graphic 45, Petaloo, Xyron Blog Hop: Day 4 -- Altered Printers Tray

Hello my blogging friends and welcome to day 4 of
Graphic 45's blog hop with Petaloo and Xyron!
It's been a fun week of Autumn splendor and inspiration from the Graphic 45, Petaloo and Xyron design teams! If you are just now joining in on the fun, be sure to back track 3 days and comment each day to increase your chance of winning this GRAND prize below...

Wow, right?!

For my project I created an altered painter's tray using Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells papers. This tray captures autumn memories of our family Thanksgiving at the house in 2012. I love how versatile the Steampunk Spells papers are. The Petaloo flowers truly compliment the project and Xyron adhesives made my life so much easier when creating this! The mega runner is a breeze to use AND the amount of adhesive in the runner is endless!

For a full product list and a video walk through of this project, be sure to scroll to the end of the post.

First, here are some photos...

"Napa" Layout using Graphic 45's Mother Goose

Hello my friends! ♥
Today I have another layout I want to share with you. I used Graphic 45's new Mother Goose collection to create this layout of a photo my husband took of me at the Castillo di Amorosa winery in Napa. Mother Goose is not just for children's projects... you can do so much with the vibrant patterned design papers. I show you exactly how on this layout...

I fussy cut the flowers from the "Ring around the Rosies" paper...

The scallop borders were cut using "Spot on" and "A Pocket Full of Posies"...

I hung a set of the Staples Metal Ornate keys from a swivel clasp and attached it to the metal clock piece... I tucked the Staples Ornate Door Plate under the scalloped borders and added the year "2013" using the Olde Curiosity Shoppe alphabet stickers...

I hand cut a fish tail banner and used the French Country alphabet stickers to spell "Napa". I added a Staples Ornate Metal Key Hole with Stamped Metal Brad. I hung a Spare Parts (Hobby Lobby) charm from the Ornate Door Plate. The blue flower was punched out from the paper collection using a 3/4" Stampin' Up punch.

Here is a video I put together to walk you through this fun, vibrant but simple layout using
Graphic 45's Mother Goose!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! xoxo
