"Enjoy" card

Hello my blogger friends! It's been awhile since I posted, but I have a quick share for you guys today!

I initially created this card for my Mom's birthday. But then I decided to create a different card for her and shipped this one off to the Graphic 45 office to be displayed at Summer CHA in Las Vegas. I created this some time ago, but will always adore the bold, beautiful colors of Graphic 45's Bohemian Bazaar paper collection. These colors are outside of my "normal" color range, but as I created with these papers, I fell more and more in love with the color palette! I also love that Coordinations has the Graphic 45 signature series card stock as they go perfectly with the Bohemian Bazaar papers!

Here are some photos of my card...

Thank you for joining me today for my quick card share. Be sure to drop by the Graphic 45 blog for more card inspiration from the designers!

"Wicked Love" Scrapbook Page & Video Tutorial

Hello my blogging friends!

Today I have a special layout to share with you of my hubsters and I. I  had so much fun creating this  page full of Steampunk Spells layers and I was excited that I was able to spell out "wicked love" using the coordinating alphabet stickers (all by Graphic 45!) Wicked Love... that completely describes our undying love. Ha! ♥

Here are a few photos of my project and below that is my video tutorial showing you how this page came together...

I created this custom wire hanger using floral wire and Graphic 45 metal Staples...
Check out my video for a link to the mini wire hanger tutorial.

Lots of fussy cutting and fun layers! I fussy cut 2 hot air balloons with only the balloon on one. I added dimensionals to that piece to pop it out a bit...

Love the butterflies in this collection! ♥

Petaloo flowers & leaves...

Finally, here is my video tutorial showing you how this page came together...

Be sure to hop on over to the Graphic 45 blog, where there will be more scrapbook pages from the design team -- an overload of inspiration today, so don't miss out! ♥

Happy hump day!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

xoxo,

Graphic 45 "Mother Goose" 12x12 Altered Matchbook Box - Layout, plus tutorial!

Hey blogging beauties! It’s Arlene again with another Graphic 45 project share!

If you follow my blog and/or YouTube channel, you’ll know how much I love to alter things. And what makes it even more fun are the Graphic 45 papers and Matchbook boxes!

I just adore, adore, adore!! the new Mother Goose collection. If you flip through the designs of the collection, you’ll see how versatile the papers are. It’s not just for kids and babies! But for my project today, I decided to create an altered shadow box layout of my son Logan of a pic I took of him on his Kindergarten graduation day this past May. He is my littlest angel and I had to keepsake this photo. What better way than the create an altered box that I can use as home décor! ♥ And I'm extra tickled pink because this project was featured in the Graphic 45 booth at Summer CHA in Las Vegas this past July... and the project will be traveling to various Graphic 45 events throughout the year... how COOL is that?! ♥

Stay tuned, because at the end of this blog post, I will also be sharing an informational video showing you how to store your dimensional scrapbook pages (A question I get ALOT on my scrapbook page tutorials!) ♥

Here are some photos of my completed 12x12 altered Matchbook Box project:

Here is my video showing you ideas on how to store your dimensional scrapbook pages:

Bird Song Pocket Album & tutorial

Hello my blogging friends! Hope you are having a great week so far. It's been quite a busy one for me, but that is typical for this time of year. Work is in full swing, and my kiddos start a new school year on Thursday. My eldest will be "movin' on up" to junior high, so it's a whole new world for him (and US as parents!) Wish us luck! hehe! We will also have a 4th grader and 1st grader this year. My boys are growing up so fast! It's no wonder I'm an avid scrapbooker/crafter, right?! I have to capture every moment in time in my projects. Hold those memories and most especially your children close to your hearts always. Hug them, kiss them and tell them you love them every day.  I forget that sometimes with my crazy, busy life... but I always remind myself why I do what I do no matter what it is... it's for my family. ♥

So on to today's post, I have a very special project to share with you. I had so much fun creating this Bird Song pocket mini book. I haven't pulled out my Bird Song paper collection in so long and I just absolutely LOVE this collection. The bold colors, images and design are just gorgeous. It's up there with my top favs from Graphic 45! This mini book is the perfect keepsake to store full size photos. And there is so much real estate, there's no need to hold back! ♥

Here are some photos of my Bird Song pocket mini album...

I created a video tutorial taking you through the creative process. I hope this inspires you to create a pocket mini book of your own! ♥

I want to thank Ginger at "mysistersscrapper" on YouTube for the wonderful book binding tutorial! ♥ Her video tutorials are fabulous, be sure to check her out! Hugs to you, Ginger!

Be sure to check out the Graphic 45 blog today where this project will also be featured! ♥

Steampunk Spells vintage card

Hello again, blogging friends!

I'm here again to share a project using Graphic 45's AMAZING Steampunk Spells paper collection. I've been having a blast playing with these vintage papers and the color palette is so fun and eclectic, I love it!

I kept this card I created rather simple, and just let the layered elements from the collection "build"out the card...

The little clocks and sprockets were punched-out from the paper collection using some of my small Stampin' Up circle punches...

I say this time and time again, but Petaloo flowers are a perfect match for the Graphic 45 papers. It's a match made in heaven! ♥ I love the Dahlias...

The inside of the card is filled with more layers and enough space to write a nice note to the recipient...

Check out the Graphic 45 blog where other "color" inspired projects will be featured today.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting my friends!

xoxo,
