Have you had a chance to participate in an I Am Roses challenge? Well, if you love I Am Roses flowers and you love to create, join our challenge and enter to win some I Am Roses products!
The rules are included on the I Am Roses challenge blog, so be sure to head on over to check it out... and while you're there, get some inspiration from the I Am Roses designers where they created samples of some HALLOWEEN CIRCLE CARDS to share with you!
Here are photos of the Halloween circle card I created for the challenge:
I Am Roses flowers up close.... LOVE the new colored daisies (product links included below.)
Inside the card...
Here's a picture of the card laid open... I did not put anything "dimensional" on the bottom circle, otherwise the card wouldn't close. LOL! TIP: If you plan on mailing the card to someone, use one of those USPS boxes intended for DVD's/CD's or a small flat rate box. The card fits nicely and won't get smashed during shipping. :-)
Now head on over to the I Am Roses challenge blog to learn more about how you can enter to win some I Am Roses products! It's that simple! :-)
Hi everyone! Today we are celebrating a VERY special birthday!
Graphic 45's one and only Diane Schultz is celebrating her birthday today and some of the Graphic 45 designers are excited to share some birthday cards that were created especially for Diane. Be sure to check out the Graphic 45 blog to join the birthday celebration and grab some Graphic 45 inspiration while you're over there! ❤
Here is the tri-fold card I created for Diane using the new Nutcracker Sweet paper collection. It's not just for Christmas you know! :-) There are lots of fun pinks and purples in this collection which provides heaps of versatility for your projects.
Here are some pictures, but check out my video below for an up-close look and details of how this card came together...
I added Diamond Stickles to give the images some "sparkle"...
I inserted a picture that I took with Diane in the Graphic 45 booth at Winter CHA 2012 in January...
Join the birthday celebration over at the Graphic 45 blog now! ❤
Hi everyone! WOW! It's been some time since I posted here on my blog... life has really taken a hold of me! But I'm happy to be back and I'm even more excited to share my latest Graphic 45 project with you!
I created this scrapbook page of a photo taken of my husband at Santa Cruz beach in California. We are both California natives and the beach is our home away from home! Beach volleyball is one of my husband's joys, so Summers are always anticipated!
Hey there everyone, and happy Monday! I have a quick little card I wanted to share with you today...
I created this masculine birthday card for my brother using Graphic 45's Olde Curiosity Shoppe. I love how versatile the papers are! The coordinating stickers and Staples embellishments from Graphic 45also add the perfect touch!
Here is a peek at the card, but be sure to head over to the Graphic 45blog for more pictures and product details... AND... there's a special birthday to celebrate today so don't miss out! ❤
Thanks for stopping by today! Have an awesomely crafty week ahead! ❤
Well hello again friends! I'm here today with another Graphic 45 project, but this time the theme is "back to school"!
My kids just started school last week and it was, to say the least, the most hectic time EVER! My youngest son started kindergarten and my other two started 3rd and 6th grades. Time flies by SO fast and the kids grow-up even faster... it's hard to keep up! So for me, it's great to capture some of the best memories of the kids when I craft, whether it be in a mini album, scrapbook page or other form of altered art.
For my project today, I created a 12x12 scrapbook page using Graphic 45's An ABC Primer. I captured this photo of all 3 of my boys and just loved their smiles! The details of this project, including more photos and product list are available over at the Graphic 45 blog.
First a peek at my scrapbook page, a video and page prep tutorial...
Here's a tutorial on how to prep your scrapbook page!
An ABC Primer
12x12 Scrapbook Page
Step-by-step page prep tutorial
by
Arlene
1. Use a
punch to decorate the edges of your page to add some interest.
2. Ink the
edges of your pages with a color that coordinates with the paper collection.
3. Ink the
edges of all paper layers. This finishes the edges & eliminates any white.
4. Use
ScorTape or Redline tape to adhere the paper to black medium weight chipboard
5. A paper
trimmer cuts straight edges for photos and images from the design papers.
6. Layer your
photo onto design paper and cardstock. Use ScorTape or Redline tape.
7. Finish
off all the paper edges with ink.
8. Use small
strips of ribbon to layer around your photo.
9. Layer
some Graphic 45 Staples to your project.
10. Create a border using a 1” circle punch and
design paper
11. Keep
layering!
12. Spray
laser cut with Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst spray in Golden Lump’O Coal.
13. Sprinkle
black fine embossing powder while laser cut is still wet.
14. Heat set
with a heat gun.
15. Viola! Black with gold peeking through!
16. The
perfect sentiment for the page!
More to see over at the Graphic 45 blog now! See ya over there! ❤ xoxo!
