Hi everyone! WOW! It's been some time since I posted here on my blog... life has really taken a hold of me! But I'm happy to be back and I'm even more excited to share my latest Graphic 45 project with you!
I created this scrapbook page of a photo taken of my husband at Santa Cruz beach in California. We are both California natives and the beach is our home away from home! Beach volleyball is one of my husband's joys, so Summers are always anticipated!
Hey there everyone, and happy Monday! I have a quick little card I wanted to share with you today...
I created this masculine birthday card for my brother using Graphic 45's Olde Curiosity Shoppe. I love how versatile the papers are! The coordinating stickers and Staples embellishments from Graphic 45also add the perfect touch!
Here is a peek at the card, but be sure to head over to the Graphic 45blog for more pictures and product details... AND... there's a special birthday to celebrate today so don't miss out! ❤
Thanks for stopping by today! Have an awesomely crafty week ahead! ❤
Well hello again friends! I'm here today with another Graphic 45 project, but this time the theme is "back to school"!
My kids just started school last week and it was, to say the least, the most hectic time EVER! My youngest son started kindergarten and my other two started 3rd and 6th grades. Time flies by SO fast and the kids grow-up even faster... it's hard to keep up! So for me, it's great to capture some of the best memories of the kids when I craft, whether it be in a mini album, scrapbook page or other form of altered art.
For my project today, I created a 12x12 scrapbook page using Graphic 45's An ABC Primer. I captured this photo of all 3 of my boys and just loved their smiles! The details of this project, including more photos and product list are available over at the Graphic 45 blog.
First a peek at my scrapbook page, a video and page prep tutorial...
Here's a tutorial on how to prep your scrapbook page!
An ABC Primer
12x12 Scrapbook Page
Step-by-step page prep tutorial

1. Use a
punch to decorate the edges of your page to add some interest.
2. Ink the
edges of your pages with a color that coordinates with the paper collection.
3. Ink the
edges of all paper layers. This finishes the edges & eliminates any white.
4. Use
ScorTape or Redline tape to adhere the paper to black medium weight chipboard
5. A paper
trimmer cuts straight edges for photos and images from the design papers.
6. Layer your
photo onto design paper and cardstock. Use ScorTape or Redline tape.
7. Finish
off all the paper edges with ink.
8. Use small
strips of ribbon to layer around your photo.
9. Layer
some Graphic 45 Staples to your project.
10. Create a border using a 1” circle punch and
design paper
11. Keep
layering!
12. Spray
laser cut with Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst spray in Golden Lump’O Coal.
13. Sprinkle
black fine embossing powder while laser cut is still wet.
14. Heat set
with a heat gun.
15. Viola! Black with gold peeking through!
16. The
perfect sentiment for the page!

It's a early Halloween over there with a ton of fun Halloween/Fall themed projects from the Graphic 45 design team. Be sure to pop on over for some inspiration!

Today I'd like to share a project I created for the August I Am Roses Color Challenge. This month's challenge is to create a "Back to School" project, incorporate yellow and use at least two I Am Roses products on your project. For complete details, be sure to check out the I Am Roses Challenge Blog.
My youngest son Logan starts Kindergarten next week and I am seriously getting anxious! I can't believe how fast he's grown up and the fact that he's beginning school just reinforces the fact that he HAS grown up! I know, I know... I have to "let go"... but as a Mom, that just never happens. :-)
I created this altered book box to store small memories from Logan's first year of school. I used one of the storage book boxes that you can purchase at Michael's. I painted it and layered on Graphic 45's An ABC Primer papers and embellishments. I chose yellow rose buds and S10's to decorate the front of my box. Here are some pictures...
Hello blogger friends! I have another project to share with you today... one that is very special to me. This photo was taken on my wedding day, immediately following our wedding ceremony. I used Graphic 45'sA Ladies' Diary to capture this memory onto a 12x12 scrapbook page. This dimensional page will be stored in a 13x13 shadow box and mounted in our hallway at home where we have a line-up of all our family portraits and memories. ❤
This layout is featured in detail today on Graphic 45's blog along with a video tutorial explaining how it all came together. I hope you meet me over there where my G45 teamie Susan will also have A Ladies' Diary scrapbook page that will surely inspire!
Here are a few sneak peak photos of my 12x12 scrapbook page...
