Shabby Chic Hanging Layout

Hi there everyone! I'm back with another design team project for I Am Roses. I had so much fun playing with this layout... and I say "playing" instead of "creating" because everything to me seems to be an experiment when I'm working on a project. ❤

I like to explore different ways to use products and in this case I took my I Am Roses spray and "built" on top of it with some sprays from Michael's, more I Am Roses flowers and I layered a good amount of other embellishments like lace, crocheted flowers and bling.

I added a vintage BINGO card on top of a heart doily under a matted picture of my and hubbs. All elements were edged with Ranger's Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. The metal butterflies were given to me in a RAK. The pink vintage design paper is from K&Co's Cut & Paste collection. The Die-cut background is from one of my Giant AccuCut dies called "Portrait." The paper collection over that die-cut is by Recollections called Love Letters. The sheer/lace trims are from KARLAS001 and the pretty pink crushed velvet trim was given to me by Jade from JadedStudios a while back (thanks Jade!!)

Here are some pics...

I LOVE the I Am Roses crocheted flowers! I layered them on some May Road Mauve rosettes (thanks Bona!) and added ribbon buckles and bling. So much fun!

In this pic, you can see all the layering of flowers up close... I love the Pink R77's, they are so pretty!!

"Butterflykisses" Butterfly cards

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a GREAT week so far. It's a mere Tuesday and I am already wishing it was Friday... but we all know how that goes, LOL!

Today, I want to share a few cards I made in the past couple of days using some beautiful trims and embellishments from KARLAS001.etsy.com. I just LOVE Karla's Etsy. She is always getting new stuff in her store, not to mention the hottest embellies to use on all your paper or crafting projects!

I used Karla's 4" Rosette Trims to make the butterflies using an AccuCut die. These look similar to the Prima butterflies you can purchase, but I like to make them my own and add little embellies you wouldn't think to add! ☺

Here is a card I made for a scrappy friend (all product links will be included at the bottom of this post):

This is the inside of the card...

Here is  a video tutorial showing how I put this card together:

Here are two other cards I made over the weekend when I first received my KARLAS001 design team package... I couldn't wait to create something!! LOL!

Here is a video showing these two cards up close, along with some of the goodies I received in my KARLAS001 DT package:

Thank you for letting me share my latest projects with you! Enjoy the rest of your week! ❤

hugs! ❤

A Shabby Chic Christmas Shadow Box and a card

Hi everyone!

I have a couple of projects to share with you today for I Am Roses.

First up is this shabby chic Christmas shadow box I created with a picture I took with my hubbie this past weekend at an early Christmas celebration with family. The shadow box was created using the Landscape Shadow box die by AccuCut and lots of fun I Am Roses products (links available at the bottom of this post.)

Here are some pics...

Next up is this "criss-cross" pocket Christmas card I created for by hubbie using another AccuCut die set. I used the red poinsettias and holly leaves... so, so pretty when you layer them up!

Thanks so much for stoping by to check out what I've been up to! Just a few more days and I'm officially on vacation for the holidays ---- yaaaaahoooooooooo! I can't wait! LOL!

More Custom Christmas Ornaments!

Hey everyone! WOW... doesn't it feel like the days for like 100MPH faster during the holidays?! It's like I blinked and all my Christmas projects are like DUE! LOL! Cards for family and friends... altrered picture frames and albums... will I ever get them all done in time? My fingers are crossed! :-)

Today I wanted to share more customer Christmas ornaments I created, but this time they are made using the plastic ornaments from Michael's and a bunch of KARLAS001.etsy.com goodies!

Here are some pics...

I used a rosette from the Jade flower trim and layered it onto a larger rosette from my stash. The center is a ribbon buckle I purchased on eBay with a 1/2 back pearl in the center. The ornament is stuffed with this super glittery netting I found in the Christmas section at Michaels. The "hanger" was made using the Medium White Flower Trim.  I added the Shabby Chic porcelain ribbon center flowers in Pink/White to the base of the ornament cap. I added 2 large Off-White Flowers and accented around them with the Capped Rhinestones, Wheat leaves in 3 Tone Pink, Mini Clear Crystal Flowers,  and a Small White Butterfly.

Here's a close-up...
