My MFT Design Team Journey!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to write up a blog post to remember my amazing journey as a My Favorite Things designer. I recently stepped down from the design team to focus more time on family, work and personal commitments. It's probably one of the hardest things I've done EVER! I've really grown to love the MFT family of designers, Kim (the owner) and Jody (MFT coordinator, and one of my sweetest friends ever!) I will continue to support MFT in all ways -- as you know, I can't live without their products -- can you say MFT Die-Namics? Love, love, love! ❤

So I wanted to dedicate this post to Kim, Jody and the MFT design team. LOVE you ladies! ❤

Here's a quick peek of some of my work as an MFT designer (December 2010 - October 2011):

... and what an AMAZING journey it's been! ❤

Life is the flower...

Hi everyone! I have a Stamper's Dream project share for you today. I created this cute little card using Impression Obsession's A Loving Heart clear stamp set and Prima Londonerry 6x6 papers from Stamper's Dream. And did you already hear about the Stamper's Dream liquidation sale?? I'm so, so sad Michelle's closing up shop... but that means some scrappy savings for you, so hurry on over to get an additional 20% off the entire store! Did I tell you Michelle carries Spellbinders and Tim Holtz Alterations dies?? All the cool stuff is going fast, so don't wait!!

Here is the card I created:

I stamped the sentiment onto some of the Londonerry design paper then I cut it out using one of the dies from the new Donna Salazar Creative Book Pages Two Grande die set. I edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink. The flowers are Kaisercraft Blooms in Olive and Buttercream. The little cherry blossom and skeleton leaves are from I Am Roses. The butterfly is from my stash and I hand-made the custom stick-pin. ❤

I punched out the leaves with some of the design paper & my Martha Stewart punch to "fill up" the flower ensemble on the card. The pearl bling is by Recollections.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share my latest project with you! And don't forget to stop by Stamper's Dream... you just might find yourself an awesome deal! ❤

"A Christmas to Remember" card, some news and Stamper's Dream Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Stampers Dream's very last (*wiping my tears as I write this*) blog hop! If you haven't heard the sad news about the closing of Stamper's Dream, please click on over to Michelle's blog for details and for information about the store's liquidation sale.

It has been such an AMAZING honor being a member of Michelle's Dream Team! But, I am excited for Michelle as she steps into the next journey of her life. Love you Michelle! Thank you so much for everything you do!

That said, don't you go anywhere just yet... because we have a full line-up of designers and friends ready to share some fun projects with you on today's blog hop!

I created this card using JustRite's Christmas Trimmings Cling Mount stamp set and BoBunny's Father Christmas paper collection. I stamped the wreath with Momento Tuxedo black ink, colored it up using my copic markers and used my circles Nesties to cut it out. I stamped the bow and colored it up as well, but I fussy cut it and added some dimensionals & a Recollections half-back pearl to make it pop off the page a little. The pearl bling is by Recollections and the trim is by Prima. The gorgeous "sugared" flower is also by Prima. The larger layers on the card were cut using Donna Salazar's Creative Book Pages Grande Die by Spellbinders. I love how versatile this die set is... not only are they awesome for creating mini albums, but you can also use the various dies that come in the set to make cards!

Here are some pics...

Birdcage Mini Album

It's me again... yup, 3 projects in less than 24 hours. Pretty insane, I know. LOL! This time I want to share a project with you for I Am Roses.

This mini album was created using AccuCut's Birdcages die-set and ColorBok's Flea Market papers. I used a bunch of I Am Roses products in this mini... Let's start off by showing you some pictures...

I think I'll now point you over to my video where you can get a closer look at this mini album and how it all came together.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share one of my latest projects with you. Now it's time for me to hit the sack... long day tomorrow of pumpkin picking and carving with the kids!

Halloween Castle Mini Album

Hey there everyone! Today I have a fun project to share with you for Lindy Stamp Gang!

I created this Halloween mini album using the Castle #2 album die set by AccuCut and a mod podge of papers by Recollections and DCWV. I accented this album using Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz by Lindy Stamp Gang (my absolute fav!!) I just LOVE how it gives your pages and elements tons of shimmer without the color when you don't need color! I also used colors from the new Tickle Me Fancy Magical Mica set. This is "the" perfect set for all your Halloween projects! But if you are looking for more traditional Halloween "shimmery" goodness, check out the Haunted Halloween Starburst Spray set.

Here are a few pictures from my Halloween Castle mini album:

Watch my video of this mini album below for more detail...

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have an amazingly crafty weekend! hugs! ❤

A Warm Hello

HI everyone, TGIF!! I'm here with a project for Stamper's Dream!

A created this card using BoBunny's Et Cetera papers and the JustRite's A Warm Hello Round 1 5/8" stamp set.

I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4 to layer by sentiment, which is layered using the Small Standard Circles Nestabilities. The ornate accent over the sentiment is cut using the Parisian Motifs Shapeabilities. I adorned it using this really pretty Webster's Pages sparkler.

The large rose to the right is a Kaisercraft bloomer in Honey. The rest of the flowers are by I Am Roses. The trim is the Brown Satin Pleat Edging ribbon by Maya Road.

Here's the inside.... the border is cut using the Parisian Accents Shapeabilities by Spellbinders.

Thanks so much for peeking at my project today. I sure enjoyed sharing it with you!

Be sure to stop by Stamper's Dream to check out what's new!

Have a GREAT weekend!

hugs! ❤
