MFT Teaser Day 5!

The long awaited day has come! We are on day 5 of MFT teasers which means tonight, the August release becomes available for purchase on the MFT Boutique! Are you just as excited as I am? Super giddy over here! ♥ I'll have another post going up tonight with my blog hop project, so be sure to check back because the design team really went to town with some awesome samples to share with you!

For today's teaser, the design team created projects using 2 new stamp sets: Sunflower Who's that Girl and All Smiles.

My card is featuring the new All Smiles stamp set. And let me tell you, the sentiments in this set are fun and happy sentiments that really do make you want to smile! ☺

I started off with some October Afternoon papers and my all time fav, Hot Fudge cardstock. I stamped the sentiment onto the fishtail banner  and layered that onto the tag from the new Tag You're It Die-namics. The flourishes on the tag are from the Sassy & Sweet stamp set. I added a heart from the Hearts a'plenty Die-namics and embossed it with my swiss dots embossing folder, then rubbed some walnut distress ink over it. I added some brown twine and a wooden heart from my stash. Yup and that's a Simply Scallops Medium trimming my center layer -- love it!

MFT Teaser day 4!

Hey again everyone! Welcome to day 4 of 5 of MFT Teasers. One word.... WOW! This release is so anticipated by many. What do you think of all the projects created by the MFT Design Team showcasing the new products? Aaaaaaaah-mazing!

Today the MFT design team is sharing projects using 2 new stamp sets -- Inspired by The Beach and "Tag You're it!"

My card today was created using "Tag You're It!" Die-namics and stamp set and papers by October Afternoon. I just love the large Die-namics tag that comes with the stamp set. It's perfect to create gift tags or even layered onto a card like I did here...

The Butterfly Die-namics are cut out in vellum and layered nicely over the butterfly stamp that comes in the "Tag You're It!"stamp set. The little pink butterflies were stamped using the Sweet & Sassy stamp set. And do you spy my new fav Fancy Flourish, a Mini Rolled Rose cut in MFT felt and Jumbo Scallops? 

I finished off the inside with a vellum butterfly, more of the Fancy Flourish and Jumbo Scallops...

MFT Teasers Day 3!

Hi everyone! I'm back again today with more MFT Teasers! How is that "gotta have it" list looking? I bet it's starting to look at little LONG right about now, right? LOL! AMAZING release this month, it really is!

Today the design team is featuring the new stamp sets joining the Pure Innocence family: Caramel Apple, Karate Girl, Karate Boy, Sunflower girl and Poppy.

All 3 of my sons are in Tae Kwon Do, so I just "had" to create a project using the new Karate Boy stamp set! My 7-year old son Dylan joined Tae Kwon Do (Korean form of Karate) in November 2010 and he has been non-stop ever since! He is now on his 5th belt and is aiming for Black Belt by the time he turns 9. Yaaaahoooo!!!

I created this 12x12 layout using a fun puzzle piece as the background along with the Tattered Time papers by DCWV.

I colored up PI Karate Boy with my Copic markers and fussy cut him out. Isn't he just the cutest ever,and my son to add?! :-) I just LOVE the sayings included on the stamp set. It really brings the image to life with some verbal action! LOL! The large speech bubble from the Say What Die-namics is perfect to stamp the sentiments on, as well as the Sunshine Die-namics (reminds me of the old Batman TV series -- Ka-pow!!! LOL!)

I used the new By The Numbers Die-namics to document the year this pic was taken. LOVE the large, bold numbers in this die set! "Tae Kwon Do" is stamped out using the clear alphas from the Banner Strip Die-Namics and stamp set. And do you spy the Fancy Flourish again? Well, you're going to see it AGAIN and AGAIN because I just LOVE it! hehe! ♥

MFT Teasers Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to day 2 of 5 of MFT Teasers! The design team is here again today to share a few new products being adding to the MFT family: Just the Ticket Die-Namics and stamp set, à la modes I Spy and à la modes Bundle of Baby.

My first card today was created using Just the Ticket Die-Namics and stamp set and Mable Papers by My Minds Eye. I liked the idea of the tickets being "tucked" in the pocket... reminds me of when I stuff my movie ticket in my back pocket, so when I need to leave the theater I can get admission back in! And do you spy the new Fancy Flourish Die-namics? Love, love, love!!! ♥

My second card was created using à la modes Bundle of Baby. One of my good friends is expecting her first daughter in a few weeks and I am so super excited for her and her husband. This card is for them!

I paper pieced using the MFT paper pack (currently out of stock) which I absolutely love and used Hot Fudge card stock for my die-cuts and layers. I can't get enough of the new Fancy Flourish Die-namics (told you!) LOL! The Tag from Tag You're It Die-namics and stamp set is to "die" for, no pun intended! ♥ I finished off the card with some seam binding, a Bazzil button bling, pearl bling from my stash and some gorgeous pearl trim from my friend Karla.
