MFT Teasers Day 3!

Hi everyone! I'm back again today with more MFT Teasers! How is that "gotta have it" list looking? I bet it's starting to look at little LONG right about now, right? LOL! AMAZING release this month, it really is!

Today the design team is featuring the new stamp sets joining the Pure Innocence family: Caramel Apple, Karate Girl, Karate Boy, Sunflower girl and Poppy.

All 3 of my sons are in Tae Kwon Do, so I just "had" to create a project using the new Karate Boy stamp set! My 7-year old son Dylan joined Tae Kwon Do (Korean form of Karate) in November 2010 and he has been non-stop ever since! He is now on his 5th belt and is aiming for Black Belt by the time he turns 9. Yaaaahoooo!!!

I created this 12x12 layout using a fun puzzle piece as the background along with the Tattered Time papers by DCWV.

Here's a closer look...

I colored up PI Karate Boy with my Copic markers and fussy cut him out. Isn't he just the cutest ever, and my son to add?! :-) I just LOVE the sayings included on the stamp set. It really brings the image to life with some verbal action! LOL! The large speech bubble from the Say What Die-namics is perfect to stamp the sentiments on, as well as the Sunshine Die-namics (reminds me of the old Batman TV series -- Ka-pow!!! LOL!)

I used the new By The Numbers Die-namics to document the year this pic was taken. LOVE the large, bold numbers in this die set! "Tae Kwon Do" is stamped out using the clear alphas from the Banner Strip Die-Namics and stamp set. And do you spy the Fancy Flourish again? Well, you're going to see it AGAIN and AGAIN because I just LOVE it! hehe! ♥

MFT Teasers Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to day 2 of 5 of MFT Teasers! The design team is here again today to share a few new products being adding to the MFT family: Just the Ticket Die-Namics and stamp set, à la modes I Spy and à la modes Bundle of Baby.

My first card today was created using Just the Ticket Die-Namics and stamp set and Mable Papers by My Minds Eye. I liked the idea of the tickets being "tucked" in the pocket... reminds me of when I stuff my movie ticket in my back pocket, so when I need to leave the theater I can get admission back in! And do you spy the new Fancy Flourish Die-namics? Love, love, love!!! ♥

My second card was created using à la modes Bundle of Baby. One of my good friends is expecting her first daughter in a few weeks and I am so super excited for her and her husband. This card is for them!

I paper pieced using the MFT paper pack (currently out of stock) which I absolutely love and used Hot Fudge card stock for my die-cuts and layers. I can't get enough of the new Fancy Flourish Die-namics (told you!) LOL! The Tag from Tag You're It Die-namics and stamp set is to "die" for, no pun intended! ♥ I finished off the card with some seam binding, a Bazzil button bling, pearl bling from my stash and some gorgeous pearl trim from my friend Karla.

Here are some pics...

Close-up... isn't à la mode girl just adorable holding that baby?

"Out and About" 12x12 Layout

Hi everyone and TGIF to you all! I'm here with another I Am Roses project!

The weekend before last my family took a weekend trip to the Pinnacles National Park near Hollister, California. We did the hiking and camping thing and totally "roughed" it. Can you imagine.... me roughin' it?! Well, those that know me well were in complete shock... trust me. LOL!

Anywho...... so my 3 year old went hiking with us and my husband and I kinda looked at each other thinking "ok, we'll have to take turns carrying him up the mountain and through the caves and down the rocks..." We thought he'd start complaining of heat and exhaustion 10 minutes into the hike.... well, guess what?! We hiked almost 4 miles and he didn't complain 1 single time... in fact he was ready for MORE! LOL! So anyways, I took this pic of him hiking up hill and HAD to scrap it!

The papers are by DCWV Travel. I used a bunch of I Am Roses flowers and leaves and will include all the links/codes below. Here are some pics...

The Puffy Daisies sprayed with Dark Chocolate Truffle Starburst Sprays are my all time FAV...

I Am Roses Products:

Dark Brown Leaves (currently not in stock)

I created a video detailing how this lay-out came together. There is a tutorial also included in the video, so I hope you peek in. Click HERE to watch the video on the I Am Roses Design Team YouTube channel.

Thanks for stopping by today and have an AWESOME weekend!

MFT Teaser Day 1

Hi everyone and welcome to another week of MFT teasers. The design team has been hard at work prepping for the HUGE release on August 2nd and we have a ton of samples to share with you today!

Today the design team is featuring 2 new products - Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy (Previous Triple Scoop set) and By The Numbers Die-namics and stamp set.

I created my card using By The Numbers Die-namics and stamp set and papers by My Minds Eye. The number Die-namics are PERFECT for birthday cards, which is what I created.  Here's a peek:

Happy Birthday Circle Card

Hi everyone! I'm here today with another project for Stampers Dream. ♥

I am still in "circle card" mode and decided to break out with my Prima Reflections papers that I've been hoarding (LOL!) and Grand Circle & Circle Scallop Spellbinders dies. I dry embossed one of the circle layers using my Swirls Texture Fade and distressed it with Ranger Distress ink in Walnut Stain. The sentiment is from the Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit by JustRite and is cut out using the coordinating Spellbinders dies, then layered onto a decorative sentiment frame from the Nested Sentiment Custom Dies by Spellbinders. The larger decorative frames were cut out using Spellbinders Labels 20.

The gorgeous ribbon is by May Arts (Brown Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon) and the flower nested over it is a Kaiser Paper Bloom painted with Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays in Rudolph's Nose Red. The two smaller roses by I Am Roses are also painted with Starburst Sprays and I added some crystal clear sprays from my friend Karla to accent the bunch. The bling is by Zva Creative and Recollections and the rhinestones on the sentiment are by Crystazzi.

Here's a close up...

Be sure to visit Stampers Dream as new products are being added to the store every week! Keep your eyes peeled for summer CHA goodies too... coming soon!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
