Banner Mini Album and a card!

Hi everyone and Happy Friday to you all! What a long week it's been, eh? Well, I'm just happy the weekend is here and that I have time set aside for both family gatherings and some creating in my craftroom!

Today, I'd like to share a banner mini album I created for Stamper Dream. I just LOVE my banner die-set from AccuCut and have been dying to make a mini album using it. I recently received some of the Crate Paper Neighborhood papers from Stampers Dream and they were just perfect for this banner mini album!

Here are some pictures...

I like to create videos on projects like these so I can walk you through how I created it. Reading a post, versus watching how it was created can make a huge difference I think! If you'd like to watch the video, click HERE.

I also created this card using the Darling Marci stamp by LLLC and the All Occasion clear stamp set by Impression Obsession (both currently out of stock) but I wanted to share the card with you!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Keep cool! It'll be another scorcher here in California!

hugs,

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream!

I created this card for a scrappy friend using the Stampendous clear stamp set Daisy Thanks. Next to roses, daisies are my favorite flowers. They are simple, yet bring beauty to any setting! I especially love yellow daisies. I used the Tim Coffey Cottage Garden papers, brown and kraft cardstock. I used my old Fiskar's paper crimper and crimped the kraft cardstock to give it a corrugated look. I colored the daisies with my Copic markers then cut them out using the Spellbinders Labels Seventeen (currently out of stock.) I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto a banner die and anchored it with a pretty Webster's Pages sparkler. The lace, white daisies, glittered butterfly sticker and Prima Say It in Pearls are from my stash.

I can't believe the weekend is here and I'm so totally looking forward to it!! I work full time during the week and it's just been one of those super crazy weeks for me... I'm so looking forward to relaxing and enjoying some time with my boys. :-)

Be sure to stop by the Stampers Dream store. Michelle just added some new items to the store including new BoBunny 6x6 paper pads -- and I "need" to scoop up some of that Rocket Age paper by October Afternoon --- PERFECT for those little boys in your life! :-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

hugs!!

Altered Circle Tin with Mini Album

Hey everyone! I'm here with a FUN Mother's day project for Stampers Dream. I could NOT keep my hands off the new Webster's Pages goodies I got from the Stampers Dream store... it's so yummy!! And Michelle has all the fun coordinating sparklers, silhouettes, stickers, stick pins.... you name it! The embellishments make putting something like this together SO easy and did I already say FUN?!

I created this altered tin and mini album as sort of a tribute to my Mom. My Mom is my best friend and I love her so much! I've been wanting to create a little mini just of her, and that's what this is!  I hope she likes it!

The paper collection I'm using is the new Webster's Pages 6x6 Double Pack Trendsetters and Ladies & Gents. I also used the coordinating Images and Phrases cardstock stickers for both Trendsetter and Ladies & Gents.
I used some luscious Maya Road trim on this project, but be sure to check out my video HERE for an up-close look at this circle tin and mini album.
Here are some pics....

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out Stampers Dream for the latest finds!

Accordion Photo Stand

Hi everyone -- TGIF!! Wow, what a week it's been and finally the weekend is here. One word ------ aaaaaaaaaaaah! ** Big sigh of relief. ** LOL!

I'm here today with a fun, FUN project for Stampers Dream. A week or so ago I picked up the new Donna Salazar Creative Book Pages Grand Dies over at Stampers Dream. And oh my!! I've been dying to create something with these dies. My Dad's birthday is coming up on Sunday and we're getting together to take him out to a nice dinner. Instead of a birthday card, I thought I'd create him an accordion photo stand of his 3 grandsons! The creative book pages dies were PERFECT! I used the larger (ticket shaped) die to cut out thin chipboard & design paper. Then I used the smaller page die to create a matting for the boys' pictures, which I fussy cut. The papers are from the Prima Reflections paper collection available at Stampers Dream. The embellishments are random metal & wood findings from my stash by Tim Holtz, Making Memories and Maya Road (notice how I used the Maya Road Bingo chips to call out each son's age?) I used the banner die cut from the Regal Crest Alterations Die to adhere alpha stickers to spell out each of my sons' names. I then used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes on the pages and affix large eyelets. The pages are joined together using Tim Holtz Ideology bead & chain.

Hope my Dad enjoys this for years to come!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!

hugs ♡

There's lots of eye candy to go around and prizes to be won... so grab that cup of Java, get comfortable and be ready to HOP! :-)

Today, I'd like to share a card I created using the ADORABLE little Marci With Rose cling rubber stamp by Lala Land Crafts, now available at Stampers Dream. Is she NOT adorable?! I love her litte outfit, I had to paper piece her! I used the new Webster's Pages Petite Paper pack "Spring Market, Yacht Club & Country Estate" (currently out of stock.) I stamped the image twice, used my Copic markers to color up the rose she's holding, cut it out and popped it up with a dimensional. The mulberry rose in her hair is from my stash. I colored it up using the same Copic markers I used for the rose she's holding. I added pearl bling from my stash to her waist. I popped Marci up on dimensionals and layered her on top of Kraft paper and DP cut out with Spellbinders Labels 20. The Prima Flowers are from the Stampers Dream store as well as the sentiment, which is from the Heart to Heart Borders and Centers Oval stamp set.

Now to get you on your "hoppin'" way, I'd like to direct you over to Leslie MillerI'm sure she has something breath-taking to share with you today.

Altered Shadow Box and Easel Card

✿ ✿ CLICK HERE FOR MFT TEASER DAY 1. ✿ ✿

Hi and TGIF everyone! I have a few Stampers Dream projects I wanted to share with you today.

First up is this altered Maya Road ATC Shadow box. I decided to do something different -- notice how this is "not" using Graphic 45 papers?! LOL! You all know I love to alter boxes using G45... BUT, this time, I decided to create something for my 2 eldest sons who play soccer. I wanted something I could put up in my office/scraproom and being that my kids LOVE soccer, I thought a soccer theme would be nice. I used the School Spirit collection by Crate Paper... Oh what FUN papers for children! And I really love the vintage-shabbiness of the designs on each page.

Click HERE to watch my video for an up close look at this altered shadow box. I also include an up-close look at the easel card I share below.

Here are links to the Stampers Dreams products I used featured in this Altered Shadow Box.

Ranger Distress Stain - Walnut Stain
May Art Burlap string in Brown (currently sold out)

Next up is this easel card I made with a cute little stamp by Sarah Kay for Stampavie called Juliet in the Field of Nasturtiums. I love Sarah Kay's designs, they are just so adorable and sweet and FUN to color up with Copic markers.

Here are links to the Stampers Dreams products I used featured in this easel card:

Juliet in the Field of Nasturtiums
Bo Bunny Vicki B papers
Regal Crest Alterations die (vines)
Prima Overture Petunia Collection
JustRite Stampers: Be Happy Borders & Centers
Maya Road Small White Roses Organza Ribbon
Ranger Distress Ink - Vintage Photo

Well, hope you enjoyed the projects I had to share with you all today! Be sure to stop by Stampers Dream and check out all the new products Michelle has been putting up on the store --- can you say new Spellbinders and Tim Holtz cling mount stamps & Alterations dies?! Eeeeeeek, I get goosebumps when Michelle adds new Tim Holtz items to her store... like the new Alterations Sewing Room die! If you haven't bought yours yet, run on over and get yours today before they sell out --- this die (like all Tim Holtz dies, in my opinion) is to "die" for!! :-)

Enjoy your day! :-)

hugsies!

Stampers Dream: Canvas Tag Album

Hi everyone! I have a super fun project to share with you guys today! I had a blast creating this canvas tag mini album for my husband and I. The plan is to place my "2011 favorite pics" of hubby and I in this mini album. We hardly have any pictures together since the camera is always pointing at the kids these days... so to have pics together is a pure treasure for me! I completed pages for the months of January, February and March and I've prepped the pages for the rest of the months.

I used a Maya Road Canvas Tag Album. It comes with 6 tags, so it was PERFECT for a 12 month mini album. The paper collection is one of my new favs -- Portrait Collection by Crate Paper. I love the warm, yet spring-ish colors... so fun!

I'll share some pics with you here, but you'll want to check out my VIDEO to see how it all came together. I even share a brief tutorial at the end on how to stain your trims to match your projects. So grab that cup of coffee, relax and enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share my latest project with you! Be sure to give Stampers Dream a visit for some FUN scrappy shopping and tell Michelle I said "HI!!"

Have an awesome rest-of-the-week!

hugsies!
