"You've Been So Sweet" Birthday Card

Click ✿ ✿ HERE ✿ ✿ for MFT Kim Birthday Mobbing Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! I'd like to share a card I created for a VERY special lady who celebrated a birthday this past Sunday -- yes, it's the SUPER sweet and lovely Michelle, the one woman show behind Stampers Dream! And I am so humbled to be part of her awesome Dream Team! I sent her this card with a few other hand-made yummies earlier this week as a simple THANK YOU for just being the best ever! ♡

Again... another circle card! I'm hooked on circle cards right now. I used my Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circle Grand Nestabilities to create the base of my card. The papers are from the Trendsetter collection by Webster's Pages. I used Spellbinders Labels 13 to frame my greeting, which is from the JustRite Vintage Floral Labels cling mount stamp set. I layered a Kaisercraft paper bloom in Fairy Floss over some May Arts Pink Burlap String and a Shabby Chic flower from my stash.

Inside the card, I layered more Webster's Pages design paper for the base. I die-cut a really pretty shape from the Spellbinders Parisian Accents die set, and stamped a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment from the Just Rite Family Garden cling mount stamp set onto a square die cut from the custom Charm Dies by Spellbinders.

Hope you like it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY again, sweet Michelle!

hugs!

Follow Your Dreams...

HI everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream!

I wanted to travel back to my crafting roots and create (or should I say "distress") a tag... and what better stamp set to choose for my tag than a Tim Holtz cling mount stamp set! And Michelle has a great selection of the coolest ones on the Stampers Dream store. I used the Papillon Cling Stamp set. I just LOVE all the vintage butterflies in this set.  For the sentiment, I used Impression Obsession's All Occassion Stamp Set. I did a bunch of distress work and stitching on this tag and just had a BLAST!

What do you do with a tag you say? You gift it, just like you would a card! :-)

Here are some pics...

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet today and include all the deets on a vid. Click HERE to watch the video explaining how this tag came together.

Here's the recipe for my tag:

Thanks for stopping by today! Have an awesome week!

hugs!

Life is Like a Butterfly...

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream. I'm having so much fun with the JustRite Butterfly Gardens stamp set, I had to make another card using just the sentiment from the set....

I stamped the sentiment, cut and layered it using the Spellbinders Labels 3 and popped on Crystazzi crystals from my stash onto the corners. The paper collection is Vintage Attic Treasures by Melissa Frances. I love the vintage-washed look of these papers. The large flower is from a pack of Kaisercraft Bloomers in the Fairy Floss color. I'm officially addicted to these flowers and Michelle has a huge assortment to chose from on the Stampers Dream store! The smaller roses are from my I Am Roses stash and all are distressed using Ranger Vintage Photo distress ink. I created a double bow with some seam binding. The center "bling" on the bow is a Webster's Pages Vintage Inspired Sparkler -- love these! The dimensional butterfly sticker is by Pink Paislee and coordinates well with the Butterfly Garden papers (currently sold out.)

Be sure to check the Stampers Dream store as Michelle adds new products regularly! Some new additions include the new BoBunny papers, Flourishes clear stamps and the oh-so-adorable La-La Land Crafts Marci and Luka summer stamps! All and more on the New Arrivals page.

Hope you enjoyed my project today and I do appreciate you stopping by for a visit! Have an fantabulous weekend!

hugs!

Hi everyone and welcome to the Stampers Dream and Friends Blog Hop! Michelle, the Dream Team and I are super excited about all the special, talented friends that are hopping with us today! I'll have the list of hoppers below, but first let me share my card with you!

I created this shabby chic card using the gorgeous Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime papers and the beautiful JustRite Vintage Oval Labels Cling Mounted Stamp Set. I cut the stamped sentiment and frame out using my Spellbinders Labels 13 Nestabilities and popped the frame and sentiment up on boosters. All of the papers are edged using Ranger's Vintage Photo distress ink. I can't get enough of the luscious  Kaiser craft Paper Blooms. The paper blooms I used on this card are from the "Honey" pack.  I took the Zva Creative Crystal Flourish and cut it in two pieces and placed them on either side of the frame to balance out the card. I just LOVE the little extra "something" the bling adds to a card! The trims are all by Maya Road but are currently out of stock (info/link included below.)

Here are more pics...

Happy Birthday card

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a little project for Stampers Dream! ♡

I created this cute little A2 birthday card using the Family Garden Cling Mount Stamp Set by JustRite Stampers, complimented with Mariposa papers by DCWV that I grabbed from my paper stash -- love it, these papers are my all time fav! ♡

I created a lot of layers and used my Blossoms Three nesties to die-cut the flowers from the stamp set. The luscious brown sheer wrinkled edge ribbon is by May Arts and the pearl bling is by Prima. I layered the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Family Garden stamp set onto layers of beautiful die-cuts from the Parisian Accents Shapeabilities set. The little butterfly is cut out from the Mariposa papers.

Don't forget about the Stampers Dream and JustRite Stampers blog hop -- it's not too late to participate to enter your chance of winning 1 of 3 AMAZING prizes! Click HERE for my blog post for more information and to get hopping (see list of designers at the bottom of the post!)

Stampers Dream & JustRite Stampers Blog Hop: "Thank You" Envelope Box & Tag

♥ ♥ ♥ Click HERE for La-La Land Crafts Summer 2011 Release Blog Hop. ♥ ♥ ♥

Hi everyone! Today the Stampers Dream Dream Team is hopping alongside the talented JustRite Stampers design team! So much inspiration in one event!  While you are visiting each blog during the hop, be sure to leave a little love because along the way there will be 3 (you got it THREE!!!) mystery blog candies hidden somewhere along the hop. For your chance to win one of the fabulous prizes, you must leave a comment on the mystery blog post! All 21 locations are eligible locations for the mystery blog candy! So go grab your cup of java and get comfy if you haven't already! Let's HOP!!! :-)

But first....

Today, I am featuring an envelope box & tag I created for a scrappy friend. To construct the box, I used the Sizzix Bigz XL die "Scallop Box Envelope" and die-cut the base with thin chipboard. I then layered on the Tim Coffey Cottage Garden papers and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink and Distress stains.

The "Thank You" sentiment is from the Heart to Heart Border and Centers stamp set. I cut it out using the Nested Frames custom dies. The large rose is the GORGEOUS Kaisercraft Paper Blooms in Buttercream (sprayed with Lindy Stamp Gang Desert Moon Cactus Gold for added shimmer.) Under that, I added a fun layer of my favorite May Art Brown Burlap String, then added some Iamroses cherry blossoms from my stash and some pretty Prima bling. The elastic closure is the Maya Road Yellow Ruffle Edge trim that I dyed with the Ranger Distress Stain in Walnut Stain.

The tag is made of thin chipboard and more of the Tim Coffey Cottage Garden papers. I stamped a sentiment from the Just Because Mini Sentiments set and die-cut it using the Nested Sentiment Custom dies. I added another one of my Iamroses cherry blossoms and more Prima bling.

Before I go, here's a sneak peek at the 3 AWESOME mystery blog post prizes!! You can be the winner of one of these FAB prizes, so be sure to leave comments along the hop!!

Butterfly Gardens Card

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream. I created this Shabby Chic card using the new Butterfly Gardens Borders & Centers stamp set by JustRite stampers and new Butterfly Gardens papers by Pink Paislee (currently out of stock.) You know how much I love, love, love butterflies! So I had a blast pulling this card together. I colored up the image with my Copic markers and cut it out with my Standard Circles Small Nesties. Then I stamped the border sentiment on the DP and cut that out using my Nesties as well. I popped up the image on boosters and layered it onto the sentiment base. The shabby fabric rosette is from Etsy, but I placed a pretty Kaisercraft paper bloom in the center, which I sprinkled with my new favorite Crystal Ultrafine Art Institute Glitter -- so, so pretty!

Hope you like! Be sure to check out all the fun new items on the Stampers Dream store HERE.

hugs!
