A Wedding Layout featuring Graphic 45's Time to Flourish

Hello friends! ♥

Today I'm excited to share a special project for Graphic 45!

As our first project for the 2015 design team term, the designers were asked to create a favorite project.

One of my favorite things to create are scrapbook pages, or "layouts". It's the perfect way to express your creative style and commemorate a special occasion or moment in time.

For my first project, I created a layout featuring a photo from my wedding. It captures a very special moment when I was getting dressed for my wedding with the help of my brides maids. This layout features Graphic 45's Time to Flourish and Botanical Tea papers...

Here is a Snapguide tutorial showing how this layout came together. I hope you give one of these a try yourself!

I also created a short video showing this layout up close:

I'm honored to be featured on the Graphic 45 blog today as a welcome to the 2015 design team term. I hope you have time to stop by, take a peek at some of my favorite projects and learn a little bit about me. ♥

Inspiration Wednesday - Anything but a card!

Hey there friends! It's Inspiration Wednesday and I have another fun project to share with you all.

This week's theme is:

Anything But a Card!

I can't get enough of my new niece Jaelyn (she is TOO adorable!!)... so here I go again with another scrapbook page of her! ♥

I incorporated some fun die-cuts created using La La Land Crafts dies (my favorite!!!)

Here are some pics...

You can see the beautiful Fancy Butterfly die above Jaelyn's photo. I also die cut a few of the Stitched Ribbons and used them to accent Jaelyn's photo to the right. I added a touch of Diamond Stickles to several of the die-cuts...

I stenciled some butterflies onto the back-ground using some crackle paste medium... You can see the Scallop Border die peeking out from behind the layers...

I incorporated the leaves of the Open Leaf Flourish die around the cluster of flowers.
I love the Wrought Iron Fence die... I used it as a border here on the lay-out....

Under the flower, I added the Masquerade Mask die, which can double as a really beautiful flourish when you flip it upside-down... love it!

I hope you enjoyed my project share today. Thank you so much for taking the time to take a peek! ♥

Precious Memories - Scrapbook Layout and Tutorial

Hi crafty friends! ♥

Just wanted to quickly share a scrapbook page I created for my sweet baby niece Jaelyn. She is so adorable, and I love that I can get girly when I create for her (I have 3 boys, so I don't break out with the pink very often, LOL!) I had so much fun layering and playing with Graphic 45's Precious Memories paper collection!

Here are some photos:

Here is my video tutorial, walking you through the creation of this page.

Thanks so much for stopping by to peek! ♥

Hoping you enjoy the rest of your week!

Inspiration Wednesday with La La Land Crafts -- Use Something New!

Hello there my friends and welcome to another Inspiration Wednesday with the La La Land Crafts design team!

This week's theme is:

Use Something New

I created this scrapbook page of my "new" cutie patootie little niece Jaelyn. But I also used some new lace that I just added to my stash. ♥

Here are some photos:

I accented Jaelyn's photo with one of the butterflies from Butterflies Set 1. I die cut 2 butterflies and layered them on top of each other so it looks like the butterfly is flapping its wings. ♥ I curled 3 small banners from the Stitched Elements Set and used some chipboard from my stash to spell "LOVE", which is layered onto the ornate frame from the Stitched Elements set.

I curled the Wrought Iron Fence to give it some dimension and layered the Rolled Roses and Open Leaf Flourish over the fence. You can also see how I alternated lace with the Large Lacy Border to accent Jaelyn's picture. ♥

You can see the Heart Doily Border peeking out from under the page and lace here...

I had so much fun creating this scrapbook page, I hope you enjoyed the share!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

hugs! ♥
