Inspiration Wednesday -- Christmas in July!

It's Christmas in July over at the La La Land Crafts blog this week! This week's Inspiration challenge is to create a Christmas project. It was fun to bust out with the Christmas papers and dies for this challenge when its triple-digit heat outside! LOL!

And this is my Christmas project for July... a bendi fold card, with inspiration from Splitcoaststampers.com's tutorial website. I just changed up the dimensions for my card. Instead of an A2 card, this one is 6x6. :-)

Here are some photos:

La La Land Crafts - June 2015 Release Showcase!

Hello friends! ♥

Today I have 2 projects to share with you showcasing dies from La La Land Craft's June 2015 release!

Do you love summer as much as I do? The sun, the beach, the wind in your hair! It's one of my favorite times of the year and the June release features fabulous summer themed dies that are to die for! ♥

First, here is a peek at the Dies release, available NOW at the La La Land Crafts Shop:

For my first project, I created a summer themed card...

I used the Double Stitched Hills Border die to create a little wave in the middle of the card... I inserted the umbrella handle through it...

I created a 3D Beach Umbrella by die-cutting the umbrella twice with card stock, then cutting up one of them and folding up the layers. Love the look!

I adore the Flip Flops die, so cute!

On the inside of the card, I layered the new Scallop Trimmed Banner die and the Flower Banner die...

For my second project, I created a summer themed gift bag...

If you haven't met Molli yet, be sure to drop by the La La Land Crafts shop to check her out... she is adorable as can be.... and she's available for purchase now! ♥

Thanks so much for stopping by today! ♥

Inspiration Wednesday - More than 1 Fold!

Hey there! It's Arlene with this week's Inspiration Wednesday project.

This week's theme is:

More than 1 Fold

I created this super fun "Napkin Fold" card with inspiration from "dawn5377" on YouTube. When I first joined YouTube, she was one of the first channels I subscribed to. When I feel like getting a little boost of inspiration for unique cards, I flip over to her channel!
I created a little video showing you this card up close, but first let me share some photos...

I combined an array of La La Land Crafts dies to accent the card (supply list at the bottom of this blog post)...

The belly band is held together with a few velcro adhesives...

This is what you get when you take off the belly band...

Here's what the card looks like when you open it up all the way...

So fun!!

Here is the YouTube video showing you this card up close:
