Little Darlings Baby Boy card

Hi everyone! I'm here again today to share another fun project with you. This time it's an adorable, little card I created for a friend using Graphic 45's Little Darlings and I Am Roses flowers!

I just love the Shabby Chic feel of the Little Darlings papers and I Am Roses flowers add the perfect accent to any project!

Here are some photos to get you started...

I fussy cut the little crawling baby from the paper collection so it appears he is "sneaking up" on the sleeping baby to take a peek.... so adorable! ❤

I altered this wooden cigar box from Michael's to create a unique, storage box for my husband's receipts and knick-knacks that clutter up his office desk. I used the super gorgeous and eclectic paper collection by Graphic 45 - Olde Curiosity Shoppe and an array of Graphic 45 Staples.

Here is a little peek at my project:

La La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday - "All a Flutter!" & a video tutorial

Hey everyone and welcome to another Inspiration Friday with the La La Land Crafts design team! This week's theme is "All a Flutter - use butterflies"! Well hey... that's NO problem at all for me! LOL! The first thing I went to grab was the new Butterflies Set 1 Dies, new from La La Land Crafts!

The image I chose for today's project is the adorable and sweet little Travel Marci (with accessories). I just LOVE her little rolling suitcase and boots! I colored her up with my Copic Markers and paper pieced most of her clothing and accessories using Prima's Pixie Glen papers.

I used La La Land Craft's new Street Lamp die to accessorize the card....

Dont'cha just LOVE Marci's baaaaaa-ling earrings? LOL! I added some Crystazzi crystals to give additional pizzazz! to her outfit. ❤

Here's a close up look at the butterfly... I die cut it twice with the Prima paper, layered them on top of each other and added some Crystazzi crystals...

Graphic 45 Little Darlings Altered Dresser Drawer

Hi everyone! It's me again and I am excited to share my very first Graphic 45 2012 design team project with you today! Whoot whoot! What an amazing few months it has been since I was first extended the offer to join the Graphic 45 design team. I can't even begin to tell you how AMAZING this company is. If you think the products rock, you should meet the wonderful people behind the Graphic 45 name -- Diane Shultz (owner and creative founder) and her beautiful daughters -- Aimee and Charee!

So without further adieu, I'd like to share my Little Darlings Altered Dresser Drawer with you all. I was inspired by the Little Darlings paper collection... period. :-) These gorgeous papers just really get my creative juices flowing. I knew I wanted to create a little keepsake for a friend who is expecting a baby boy. This little dresser was the perfect thing! I plan on "stuffing" the little finished drawers with little baby goodies when I ship this off in the mail.

Here are a few little peeks at my project...

Today's project is featured on the Graphic 45 blog! So for all the details, more photos, a video and a quick and easy tutorial for altering brads, pop on over to the Graphic 45 blog. While you're there, stay awhile... I'm sure you will find a TON of inspiration from the design team to keep your creative mojo in high gear! :-)

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my excitement and latest project with you! Cheers to an amazingly crafty week ahead!

hugs!

Mother's Day card - I Am Roses May Color Challenge!

Hi everyone! I hope you join I Am Roses for a really fun challenge this month, which is to create a project using Purple and/or Teal/Turquoise!

I'm here to share a special card I created for my Mom for Mother's day. Let me start off by first telling you that purple is a REAL challenge for me. I don't use it in any of my projects -- AT ALL. LOL! I'm not a purple fan, which is why I decided to challenge myself and create something using it! I have to say, the milder (on-the-pink side) purples were MUCH easier for me to use. :-)

Here are some pictures of my card (a video link will be included below for full details and additional pictures of this card)...
