MFT Teaser Day 1!

Hey scrappy peeps! Welcome to Day 1 of 5 of MFT Teasers! I'm so SUPER excited about this month's MFT release. Heck, when am I not excited about an MFT release, right?! BUT, if you are a Die-Namics fanatic like me, OMG.... hold on tight because you are just going to FLIP when you see all these new yummy Die-Namics AND stamp sets!

Today the MFT design team is showing you projects using 3 new stamp sets: Fred Bear Takes a Hike, You Move Me, Clearly Sentimental about the Journey.

Today, I'm sharing 2 cards I created using  CS About the Journey and You Move Me.

First up is a card I created using the CS About the Journey stamp set -- previous Triple Scoop Set.

I used the Prima Spring papers and the yummy Pink Lemonade cardstock available on the MFT store.
Do you spy the smaller Dizzy Doily? It's part of a 2-die set called Dizzy Doily Die-namics Duo and will be available with this release! Do you also see how the new Solid Bracket Border Die-Namics backs the Open Bracket Border Die-namics perfectly?! Love, love, love it!

Here's a peek inside the card... ready for a personalized sentiment!

Next up is a card I created using the new You Move Me Die-namics and stamp set, which is such an awesome value! You get a ton of stamps with different sayings AND a coordinating Die-namics set!

Here is my card:

Don't you just LOVE those little cars? And the large label die that comes with the set fits the sentiments PERFECTLY!!

The sentiment inside the card is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set.

"You've Been So Sweet" Birthday Card

Click ✿ ✿ HERE ✿ ✿ for MFT Kim Birthday Mobbing Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! I'd like to share a card I created for a VERY special lady who celebrated a birthday this past Sunday -- yes, it's the SUPER sweet and lovely Michelle, the one woman show behind Stampers Dream! And I am so humbled to be part of her awesome Dream Team! I sent her this card with a few other hand-made yummies earlier this week as a simple THANK YOU for just being the best ever! ♡

Again... another circle card! I'm hooked on circle cards right now. I used my Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circle Grand Nestabilities to create the base of my card. The papers are from the Trendsetter collection by Webster's Pages. I used Spellbinders Labels 13 to frame my greeting, which is from the JustRite Vintage Floral Labels cling mount stamp set. I layered a Kaisercraft paper bloom in Fairy Floss over some May Arts Pink Burlap String and a Shabby Chic flower from my stash.

Inside the card, I layered more Webster's Pages design paper for the base. I die-cut a really pretty shape from the Spellbinders Parisian Accents die set, and stamped a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment from the Just Rite Family Garden cling mount stamp set onto a square die cut from the custom Charm Dies by Spellbinders.

Hope you like it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY again, sweet Michelle!

hugs!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to KIM, "the" MFTLady!

Hey everyone! Are you ready for some fun?! I'm here today with a super FUN MOB Blog Hop in celebration of MFT Kim's birthday! If you don't already know Kim, she is the FANtabulous lady behind My Favorite Things and I just adore her to the moon and back! And by the list of hoppers today, you'll see that I'm hardly the only one that feels that way! ♥

Here's a birthday card I created for the amazing Kim:

I don't know what struck me, but I've been on this circle card making kick for the past few weeks and I can't stop! LOL! I used BoBunny's Gabrielle paper collection and MFT Hot Fudge cardstock. The sentiment on the front of the card is from the Well Worn Greetings stamp set. The notebook stamp is from the Own Your Story stamp set.

The sentiment inside the card is from the Just My Type stamp set... and I just love, love, love the Leafy Flourish Die-namics!

"Fabulous Friend" card for I Am Roses

Hi all! I'm here today with a design team project for I Am Roses.

I created this vintage card for a scrappy friend using the Prima Moulin Rouge papers --- I LOVE these papers! I've been hoarding them for so long, I thought it was time to put them to use. hehe!

I Am Roses has some of the best quality mulberry flowers out there (IMO of course LOL!) and they take Lindy Stamp Gang stains and sprays so perfectly! But don't take it from me, you have to try some of these flowers for yourself on your projects. They really are yummy. ☺

I created a YouTube video explaining how I put this vintage card together HERE.

Here are some pics:

La-La Land Crafts: Inspiration Monday!

Hi everyone! I'm here again today for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday. I've been having a BLAST playing along with the LLLC design team this month and am super excited to have another full month in July to create with Irina's uber talented designers.

This Monday's challenge is to create a circle card! I decided to color up Ballerina Marci. Believe it or not, I have never colored her up before. I had so much fun coloring her with my Copic markers... I just ADORE her!

First, here are some pics...

Color Medium: Copic markers & At You Spica Glitter Pen

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Eyes: BG01
Lips: R20
Hair: C3, C5, C7, C9
Hair tie: R000, YR00, G24, Peach At You Spica Glitter Pen
Dress/Shoes: R000, YR00, Peach At You Spica Glitter Pen

I used Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime papers and lots of I Am Roses flowers to embellish around Ballerina Marci. I cut the circle card using my Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circle Grande Nestabilities. Do you spy glitter on the trim of Marci's skirt and on the large white rose? I love the Martha Stewart extra fine glitter -- adds the perfect touch of shine to any project. The tear drop pearls are from my friend Karla's Etsy and the butterflies are punched out using Martha Stewart butterfly punches. I fussy cut a fairy from the paper collection and have her blowing kisses at Marci... love it! hehe!

Be sure to check out the La-La Land Craft blog to see what the other Team Monday designers have to share with you. We also encourage you to play along and post your card(s) over at the LLLC Customer Gallery! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

hugs!

Follow Your Dreams...

HI everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream!

I wanted to travel back to my crafting roots and create (or should I say "distress") a tag... and what better stamp set to choose for my tag than a Tim Holtz cling mount stamp set! And Michelle has a great selection of the coolest ones on the Stampers Dream store. I used the Papillon Cling Stamp set. I just LOVE all the vintage butterflies in this set.  For the sentiment, I used Impression Obsession's All Occassion Stamp Set. I did a bunch of distress work and stitching on this tag and just had a BLAST!

What do you do with a tag you say? You gift it, just like you would a card! :-)

Here are some pics...

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet today and include all the deets on a vid. Click HERE to watch the video explaining how this tag came together.

Here's the recipe for my tag:

Thanks for stopping by today! Have an awesome week!

hugs!

I am really lovin' mermaids, so this stamp set was just PERFECT!! Here's a FUN card I created using the Who's that Mermaid stamp set and Sentiments mini:

I used 2-way glue and Art Glitter to create the shimmery effect on the mermaid's "fins." I placed a Rolled Flower, dry embossed before assembled, in the center of a Rolled Daisy. I love the look and the dimension. The sea shells are from my stash and I thought they added the perfect touch to this "under the sea" card!
