Today we are featuring 2 new stamp sets: Who's That Musical Girl and Clearly Sentimental About Music. I will be featuring March's Triple Scoop Set: Clearly Sentimental About Music.
I created this card using My Mind's Eye Meadow Lark paper collection. I went for a black and white "opera" type theme with this card. I stitched the Black Licorice cardstock and layered a set of die cuts from my Grand Nestabilities die set. I used Ranger Black Soot distress ink to distress the die cuts before popping them out of the Nesties. I then layered on top the new Dizzy Doily, cut out with Black Licorice cardstock. I weaved some shear satin-lined ribbon through the Dizzy Doily, tied a bow and finished it off with one of my handmade stick pins. The sentiment, from the Clearly Sentimental About Music set, is stamped on one of the dies from the new Sweet Stack Die-namics set. This stamp set is awesome and comes with many sayings about love and music and also the love of music. :-) I created some Rolled Roses using MFT's luxurious black felt and layered them on top of some iamroses leaves. Do you spy music notes? You bet! These are cut out using MFT's new Music Note Die-namics set. To top off the card, I added some black pearl bling from Want2Scrap.
