**Important Update on Shipping**:

Domestic Swappers (US based): Include a self-addressed/self-stamped envelope with your tags. The stamps should total at least the same amount of postage as it took to mail the tags to me. Any postage stamps not used will be returned to you. NO metered strips please. Please do not send cash.

International Swappers (Canada or Other): Include a pre-addressed envelope with your tags for me to ship the swapped tags to you. If your PayPal account is under a different email address than the one you used to sign-up, please email it to me. I will PayPal you an invoice for the shipping costs. The swapped tags will be mailed to you when the PayPal payment is confirmed.

Your tags need to be in my hands no later than June 30, 2010. I will ship the swapped tags to participants within a week so long as I have everyone’s tags on time. Any delays in receiving the tags will delay shipment for others so please be considerate of the deadline.

NOTE: By signing up for this tag swap, you are obligating yourself to follow through with your tags. But if for some reason you need to drop out of the swap (things in life happen, so don't worry) please notify me as soon as possible to prevent the least amount of inconvenience to the other swappers in your group. Thanks so much! :-)

If you don't already have my mailing address, email me once you're ready to mail out your tags and I will send you my mailing address. I’m at bfkwithlove@gmail.com.

One last note... I do a YouTube video of everyone's tags once I receive all of them. If you would like me to include your YouTube name or Blogger URL in the video, please include it in the back of your tags.

A few Copic projects & Stmaped Image Swap

Hi everyone! I didn't have a chance to share some pics of recent Copic projects I worked on before my surgery last week. I am having a BLAST with my Copic markers and all the fun Greeting Farm, CC Designs and "cutesie" stamps I've accumulated in the past several weeks LOL! It's dangerous because there as so many cute stamps out there!!

Oh, and on that note... I'm thinking of hosting a stamped image swap. Is there anyone out there that would be interested in doing something like that? The requirements would be to provide a set of stamped images for each of the swappers using Copic-quality cardstock and Memento Black Tuxedo or Archival Black ink. Not sure how many images, but maybe we can all determine that together. This is new for me, but a great idea I got from a YouTube friend - Natasha. :-) Let me know if you'd be interested by leaving a comment on this post. Thanks!! :-)

Enjoy the pics and thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome Memorial Weekend holiday everyone! :-)

hugs,
Arlene

Tim Coffey "Blossomwood" Journal for mom

I made this journal for my Mom really quick while I was waiting to get ready for my surgery this afternoon. I wanted to make my Mom a little handmade something for being there for me during my surgery today, and taking the time to help me out post surgery. I wanted to share this with you all as I want to show you how easily you could put one of these together. I created this journal in less than an hour. Super easy! Hope you like it and thank you Mom for everything, love you!

Le Romantique mini album for Rose

Hi everyone!

I finally completed the mini album for Rose as part of the January DSC mini album swap... YES, January! Can you believe how long it's taken me and how patient Rose has been?! hehe!! THANK YOU so much Rose for your undying patience! I hope you enjoy this mini album for many years to come and fill it with wonderful happy memories of you and hubbs!

The inspiration for this mini album was the Le Romantique paper collection by Graphic 45. The ideas and creativity just flowed when I was working with this paper collection... the papers are simply amazing! So amazing that I purchased 2 more sets of the paper collection so I can create more minis! hehehe! :-) The theme is "vintage-grunge." Hope you like it. :-)

Here are some still shots of the mini album... I'm also including a slide show and a link to the YouTube vids. Enjoy everyone and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! :-)

hugs!!
Arlene :-)

New cards

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a few cards I created recently...

This card base was made using the new Tim Holtz Boroque alterations die. I then used my Delta floral background stamp and stamped the card with versamark then heat set with Tattered Rose distress embossing powder. The cute little image is from the Anya collection by Greeting Farm. I used my Copic markers to color her in. I just love the Greeting Farm stamps, they are so super cute!

This card is inspired by Dawn Griffith. You can check out her video on how to make this card base HERE. I again, used a Greeting Farm stamp from their Cheeky collection - the "Glamour Girl." I colored her with my Copic markers then added Dazzling Diamonds to her wrap. She is just the cutest thing. The flowers on the card are handmade flowers I received from Joy. I just love them! I used a paint brush and colored them with "Opal Sea Oats" Starburst Stain by Lindy Stamp Gang. The ribbon I used are by Prima and Making Memories. The pearl bling is by Recollections.

Hope you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

hugs,
Arlene
