After seeing the Paper Piecing work Rina ("scrapstress" on YouTube) did on her latest vids, I had to give it a shot. Believe it or not, I have NEVER dabbled in paper piecing before... and I found it rather FUN! It does require a bit of patience to do all the intricate cutting, but I LOVE the end result! Here is my very first paper piecing project. Check out Rina's YouTube channel HERE for some of the projects she created using this technique. It's FUN!
For this card, I used the Basic Grey Nook & Pantry paper collection, Sizzix circle and scallop dies, Copic markers, At You Spica Glitter Pens, Stickles in "Pink", lace from A Treasure Nest, sentiment by CC Designs and the stamp is from The Greeting Farm. I used a Tim Holtz jump ring for the umbrella handle and the roses, of course (hehe!) are from www.iamroses.com.
Thanks for stopping by today! :-)
